Daulat Ram College is ranked 26th by NIRF in 2020 and 26th once more in 2021 in the college classification. The admission process is quite easy. It can be done through either merit Or entrance. Through merit, you just have to reach the cut-off published on the Delhi university website and find out which college you can choose based on the cut-off. The rest is done on the college premises, the staff will ask for your mark sheets and other documents. Then after some verification, you will get admission. The same goes with the entrance-based examination. You won't have to take trips to the college to get admission. Daulat Ram College is a go-to if you want hassle-free admission and great professors.

The academic experience will differ concerning which course you have opted for. I am currently pursuing a BA Hons. in psychology. I have gotten admission through the merit bases. My 12th board exam results were used to find the eligibility for the said course. The main motive to pursue psychology was to understand the human mind and how different environmental aspects can lead to mental health issues. As the current Indian population has a majority of young adults who are suffering through some form of disorder or minor stressors, I felt that psychology can help me make a change. The subjects offered in the program are very informative. Throughout the three years, they built a solid base. The curriculum introduces us to different parts of psychology which later helps in selecting the course in which a person wishes to specialize. As the students will take up Master's in psychology, they will be able to build a successful future out of the course.

For the psychology course, there are around fifteen faculty members. Most of them have experience of 20 years and above. The college currently has over 185 faculty members and 71 non-teaching members. The professors of the college are either pursuing their Ph.D. or are Ph.D. scholars. Those who are pursuing their Ph.D. are assistant professors but they teach you well. Other than that my department has put in a lot of effort to make psychology an informative and skill-based subject. It has an effective Psychology Association that organizes a range of educational and co-curricular events such as an annual festival called "Psyquest" and a Departmental magazine called "PsyTrack." The committed faculty employs cutting-edge teaching techniques such as visual materials, role-playing, and experiential learning. Our teaching staff also take part in academic interests such as research article publication, summit participation, and Ph.D. work supervision.

There is a functional placement cell in Daulat Ram College. The college's placement rate is about 94 percent. For newcomers, the average pay kit is 1.5 LPA. The highest wage package available is up to four LPA, and also the lowest pay package available is 1 LPA. Internships are available for all willing to participate students in different research labs, diagnostic organizations, food and water companies, and numerous pharmaceutical and biotech businesses.

Top recruiting firms such as Medreich, Indoco, Suraksha Diagnostic, various CSIR and DBT research institutes throughout India, Biocon, and others come to our campus for placements. Top positions are typically available in industries' research and development departments, such as Ph.D. supervisor, lead researcher, quality management, clinical analysis, etc.

My college has excellent infrastructure, it has a 13 acres large campus, including a massive library of interesting and insightful books, Wi-Fi classrooms, and smart boards in all classrooms. Even amid a pandemic, the colleges offer laptops to students for use in practical work and lessons. It has a main stage, auditoriums, a music room, and a large playground. Hostels are a very reasonable option for girls looking for lodging, but they are only open to non- Delhi residents. The cafeteria serves good food at reasonable prices. They provide workshops and invite well-known guests in the college to give them.

Campus life is quite happening. Our college has different societies such as drama, poetry, dance, and music society. The departments also organize workshops and programs to encourage interactive sessions and enhance skills in a particular area. They have NSS and NCC too in the college and the students can choose any one of them to pursue. Daulat Ram College is located on the North Campus of Delhi University and thus the students get much more exposure. They organize fests and annual functions to celebrate students' achievements. The students are also very supportive. This provides a space for growth and learning.
