University Business School, Panjab University is a great university for pursuing MBA in any field such as MBA (General), MBA (International Business), MBA (Human Resource) and MBA (Entrepreneurship). I am currently pursuing MBA (International Business) from UBS itself. It provides a great learning experience and helps to develop a greater understanding of all the concepts related to academics. The university also provides exposure of real world corporate culture by arranging seminar, workshops and corporate visit like activities. You can choose this university as it provides great return on investment as fees of this university is low as compared to other MBA colleges.

Currently, I am in first semester of MBA (International Business). I am currently studying subjects such as Management Accounting, Business Statistics, Organizational Behavior & International Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Workshop on Business Research, and more. These are some of the major subjects that are taught in first semester of this course. So, you need to have a basic understanding of all these courses.

Most of the subjects taught in the class are taught by the junior research fellows. They are doing their research and pursuing Ph.D in the department or university and some of the subjects are taught by the professors. The professors teaching there have a great experience and knowledge. They are really helpful if you have some doubts or you want to learn something from them.

Yes, the university has a Corporate Relations and Placement Cell. This cell works for the placement of second year students and also for the summer internships of the first year students. As it is a student driven university so the students themselves has to take the initiative to be a part of this cell by doing work in favor of the placements.

Yes, the university provides hostel facilities to the students but these facilities are not available for all the students. it is provided on the basis of merit. The infrastructure and other facilities of the hostel are decent.

Infrastructure and other facilities provided by the university are above average I would say. As the university is fully government controlled and have very less fees when compared to other MBA colleges you cannot accept a great infrastructure but it has a decent infrastructure and other facilities which will not be a major factor of concern.

You will have a great campus life here as the university is situated in the main campus of Panjab University which is located in the heart of Chandigarh. The campus itself is very beautiful and you can also enjoy the exposure of Chandigarh as well. Campus has a lot of greenery and you can have a great night life as well if you decide to live in hostel.
