Yenepoya University B.Sc Review By Nia Fathima

I chose Yenepoya University in Mangalore because we know Mangalore is an educational hub and the Yenepoya Institutions are quite famous when it comes to education. I wanted to go for a unique field and so I chose forensic science which was not available anywhere in Kerala. Of course I could have gone to Christ University Bangalore but I was drawn here for many reasons. Anyways my experience has been really good. I made some good friends here. The faculties are good. There's always some event or the other going on. We have got sweet localities that treat you like own. The college basically provides opportunities like none other for every single person. In my personal opinion. Go for it.

I am currently doing bachelors in forensic science at the Yenepoya University Mangalore. Here they inculcate skills in studies. For example, we have practicals. We use dummies to recreate a particular crime scene...both indoor and outdoor. And I enjoy it so much. The whole process starting from barricading to sketching to mapping and finally submitting the report like some first responders. Forensic has now become increasingly important everywhere. So go for it.

Our faculty both locals and non locals are all so welcoming. Especially as hostellers who are away from home. Such welcoming faculty really changes your perspective about all. So yes, we have got really sweet ones. And our principal who is likes always saying yes for anything and everything. This makes everything so much better in terms of events and opportunities. We get to enjoy a lot with few restrictions.

Currently I have not got much information as I am new.

Our hostel is near the college, about 2 minute walk trust me. Our hostel is different from the other. When I go home I miss hostel. Yes, that's the situation. We basically make a second home here. For me, my wardens are far too good and that makes everything so much better. They ensure our safety but also prioritize our fun.

Our campus is quite huge with eight floors. It has 3 cafeterias, One at the ground floor, and other at the 3rd floor and 8th floor. The building also has an auditorium where most of the events are organized. Our classrooms are equipped with air conditioners and smart boards. We have a colorful building and its fun. Even the auditorium called YMK is also air conditioned.

I'm telling you, I thought it will be boring but I am quite enjoying my college and campus life. Studies are not hectic. Events and all make it all so much better.
