Christ University Kengeri B.Tech Review By Nithin Krishna

Christ University was my dream university. That was the reason I choose Christ University for studying Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and IoT. As a University my overall experience was really good in every domain from teaching to sports. One of the other reasons I choose Christ University was because of IoT course. Even though many universities in Bengaluru provide IoT course but Christ University also provides great infrastructure for Computer Science department like labs, research Centre and much more. Also as a sports lover Christ University provided me support and couching in handball. In Christ University many other sports events are also organised. For that individual and separate well trained coaches are also there. For the quality of teaching, infrastructure and sports Christ University is one of the best options for others.

For Bachelor of Technology in Christ University provides many courses. Some of the courses are Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and electronics Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering. For the admission in Christ University there will be entrance test and interview. Interview will be a bit difficult. For me the interview session was a little bit tricky as many conceptual questions they asked.

In Christ University the teaching staffs are highly qualified and experienced. All of them are having a Ph.D in their subjects and all are having a previous teaching experience in other colleges. The faculties and the teachers are very friendly and supportive in not only in studies but in other extracurricular activities like student council, IEEE. All facilities and teachers encourage the students for participating in cultural events. As a student for me the teachers in Christ are very supportive and helpful. In class they teach us with practical examples and practical applications because of that my vision over the world has changed a lot.

Yes in the third block building placement cell is there where top companies come to recruit students. Many students are getting very high packages in top multinational companies like Tata, Cisco, etc. Also placement training session is also there for practice before attending the real placement interview.

Yes, for B.Tech student only for boys the accommodation is there. For girls, accommodation is not there inside the university hostel. Hostel Life is very nice as It is inside the university. The facilities available inside the hostel are Wi-Fi, hot water, water filter for drinking, toilets and bathrooms. And almost near to the hostel a very big cricket and football ground is also there for students.

In Christ University there are six blocks for engineering and one for architecture. All the blocks are in separate engineering departments. An engineering library is there with good collection engineering and non engineering books which are very supportive for studies. Inside the university there are five canteens which serves different varieties of food from other states it is very helpful for the students who are coming from faraway places

In Christ University for enjoying and learning many clubs, fests and activities are there. The clubs like students counsel, cash, IIIC, IEEE, NCC and many more. All these clubs are very supportive for students for their carrier advancement. In Christ University one the important fests is ethnic day which happens in the month of September. It is a very big cultural festival inside the university. There will be many stage shows and rallies will also be there. And many sports events are also there like football, cricket, badminton, athletics, handball and many more and if we are getting selected to university team there are many privileges such as free kit, attendance, certificate, and more.
