In 2017-18, I was new in Mumbai city wanting to study cinema. I feel glad that I have got an opportunity to study in Garware Institute of Career Education and Development. My over all experience of studding in this collage was fantastic. From infrastructure to staff to faculties and management, everything was up-to standard. As I was new in the city all faculty helped me even the management helped me. The admission process was not tiring it was simple. In this Institute the management will clear all your doubts and be transparent in all aspects. The campus is very clean and hygienic too.

I joined Garware Institute of Career Education and Development for studying PGDPFM (Post Graduation Diploma in Practical Film Making). I had to clear my written entrance exam in Campus itself which was objective + subjective for this course. I joined this course as it had good faculties and affordable education fee in Mumbai city which was like a dream come true. I like the subjects and syllabus which gave in an in-depth insight about my career. This course completes both practical as well as theoretical aspects of film making which makes this course value for money. As it's a Post Graduation Diploma course so the duration of this course is one year and it's a full time course.

My one of the important reason to join this course was the faculties rest things are secondary. All the faculties were well experienced and had complete knowledge in depth of the subjects. They taught us so well that I could easily count myself under the toppers list of university for my course. All the faculties gave us compete knowledge as per the syllabus and guided us to the core to clear our doubts.

Only the thing this course lacked was "Placements". Although they did not promised for placements. But I feel there could be a placement cell for this course too. This loophole was just in my course PGDPFM, rest all courses had placement cell.

The hostel facility was good. But one has to go though long queues for booking hostel facility. There are separate buildings for Boys and Girls hostels. Also there is a guest house too inside Mumbai University premises. Hostel follows quota system. All the details about hostel is mentioned in Mumbai University's website along with warden's number. It also has a separate hostel for international students. You need to fill the application form given on website or can be provided by you collage, fill that form and get your accommodation if available.

Garware Institute of Career Education and Development has a good infrastructure for students. The campus has a positive vibes too. This college includes spacious classrooms, practical labs, library, mini-auditorium, cafeteria, garden and parking facility. The campus has a lot of greenery and it is clean and hygienic. you can assure your safety in Garware Institute of Career Education and Development.

If you are looking for some glamours college then this college is defiantly not for you as Garware Institute of Career Education and Development has a simple and sober campus. Students from all the Economic class can come and take admission in this college. GICED conducts activities such as cultural events, blood donation camps, industrial visits, sports competitions and lots more which focus on Student's overall growth. In our course we visited audio studios, cinema fares. It also has a convocation ceremony for toppers. So in a nut-shell, if you are focused to study and want to seek practical knowledge then you can think about GICED, rest if you want lavish campus, glamour then this is not what you are looking for.
