K.T.H.M. College B.Sc Review By Kishor Dhale

College is located in Nashik city near Gangapur road. Our college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. It is A++ NAAC accredited college in the city. Admission process is based on some entrance test. If you are trying for 11th or FY then you will get admission based on your 10th and 12th score and if you are seeking for Masters then there are some special entrance exams for them or they can give admission on the basis of degree marks in specialized subject. College management is very huge and very attentive.

I joined B.Sc. Course in 2018. There was no entrance exam for this course I got admission through my 12th scores. K. T. H. M. Is well known college in the city so I gave my first preference to KTHM. There are so many subjects in this course but you have to choose it very wisely according to your interest. I would suggest KTHM is best for statistics and Chemistry if you want to get placed after graduation. Yes this course will give you very good job but you should have good marks and good skills.

For my course there were nearly 40-80 teachers. I don't have exact number of faculties but yes you can consider 3-5 teachers for 1 subject. Teachers are NET, SET qualified and Ph.D. holders. Some teachers are from IITs. All were very good teachers they always motivated student to get job and also for higher studies through different entrance exam.

Training and placement cell is quite active. In 2021 so many companies visited our campus but they hired very less students may be due to covid effect. 30-35 students were placed through campus. Highest package was 5.5 LPA for M.Sc stat students by Wipro. Average package was 2lpa. Companies like TCS 2lpa, Wipro 2.2lpa, cognizant 2.8lpa, Infosys 2.2lpa, Datamatics 2-3lpa, WNS 2lpa, Indus analytica 3-5lpa, toppr ed offered an work from home role with 2lpa, ICICI bank offered for sales role. The mostly IT companies came and hired B.Sc IT, CS, Physics, stat, chemistry, branch students. I think 30% students got placed. It is quite okay cause for B.Sc students there are very less job opportunities, but still college brought top companies and placed students.

I don't know much about the hostel as I was living with my family. But yes I heard that hostel is quite good.

College campus is very huge there are mainly 3-4 buildings. The most attractive thing is boat club area and the huge sports ground. Classrooms are very huge having all the facilities within the room. Labs are very good especially chemistry labs. Canteen is good but very small and food is not very good and only serves veg food especially fried products.

College Life was very good but unfortunately I lived only 2 years of my college life on campus and 1 year spent in home just because of covid. Learning is very good college faculties always guide good student about career. This college is very good for sport person or those are preparing for civil services exams. Our gathering and days happens once every year it is known as Science fest.
