Review of S.H.U.A.T.S faculty of Commerce

Overall Rating
My overall experience was good. Teachers were friendly and knowledgeable. The infrastructure of the university is great, and it has a beautiful garden, but the management is not up to the mark. The fee structure is quite expensive for B.Com and the difficultly level of the examination is average. Teacher and student ratio is 1:30 and students have a friendly nature here.
 

Academics Rating
You don't have to give any entrance exam for B.Com because they take direct admissions for the course. You have to submit a migration certificate, transfer certificate, copy of 10th and 12th mark sheet along with Aadhaar card. The fee for one semester is Rs.30,000 /-. You are required to pay Rs.5,000/- for registration and Rs.1,000/- for insurance. My motive for this course is to acquire knowledge about accounting and management.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are really nice, especially my commerce faculties. The professors are eloquent and highly qualified with 20-25 years of experience. Their teachings style is pretty interesting, but the classes should be conducted more often.
 

Placement Rating
There is a Placement Cell in Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences but the placements can be improved because many a time, the placements are for B.Tech students.
 

Hostel Rating
There are various hostel buildings facilitated by the university that have affordable fee structure to an expensive one.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university infrastructure is pretty good. The buildings are old but beautifully maintained by the staff. They have a nice park, basketball court, green football ground, gym, and the campus is lush green. It has a huge central library with thousands of books. They have separate library for every department, and classrooms have air conditioning and a clean seat, but restrooms are not that much clean.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is amazing because the crowd in Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences is great. If you want to take the admission for the sole reason to study, then it will be a heaven for you. The university campus is not crowded and organises fests every year including sports day and talent hunt. The campus has planted many trees which give you fresh air and it also has 4 restaurants in the university.

    Overall, my experience at SHUATS Prayagraj is good. The 4-year of campus life is like a rollercoaster ride where I went through lot of ups & downs. The campus is very big, you have to walk a long way to reach to your University/Department to the classroom. The faculty and professors are very helpful throughout the academics.     At first, I was worried as a South Indian girl going into a university in Uttar Pradesh. But when I got into this university then I realised this university is completely safe despite being in a high crime rated area and the education provided here is completely practical knowledge by experienced professors where they provide real knowledge and even the surroundings environment inside the college is really beautiful and fascinates us in every season throughout the year....
