My views on Prasad Institute of Medical Sciences

Overall Rating
The institute is very close to the airport and hence makes going home easier since I come from a different state. Secondly the fee is comparatively low then other colleges. Also the institute has good facilities with huge classrooms and the hospital is attached to the institute with good patient flow.
 

Academics Rating
The MBBS course here has 150 students per batch and there are currently 5 batches studying here. The institute takes extra 60k for examination. NEET is required for admission and the cutoff can be above 400. It is not that much but you need to have decent marks.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are MBBS graduate in the least and some are even more educated. They teach very nicely. It is beneficial to learn from MBBS teachers as they have better understanding of the subjects. The institute has huge projectors and 3 screens in every classroom for us to learn from.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is uncommon in MBBS but the institute has a compulsory internship program in which we have to do compulsory internship after 4.5 years of course.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel here is compulsory with fees of 2.6L which is included in fees and the mess fees is also included in that. The hostel rooms are big and spacious with good ventilation and the mess food is also good with different menu each day.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The institute has a big library with lots of books. It has two separate girls and boys grounds for sports, etc. It also has area for walking and jogging. The institute has a huge hospital building with around 900 beds and good doctors.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is slow and healthy with studies at equal hand. Students mostly enjoy in the evening around the campus. The main Lucknow city is on a distance that can be covered in 30 minutes. The entry time for the institute is 8 PM for both girls and boys. There are not a lot of clubs here in the institute.

    I chose this institute because of lowest tuition fee which is 8.5 lakh at time of my admission in 2019 batch. Hostel fee was 1.5 lakh and mess charges 2.4 lakh and other facilities at 90 thousands rupees. Another reason was that it allows outing till 7 PM.... Read Full Review
