My experience at NST-RU

Overall Rating
This institute has a great curriculum, and you'll get to learn the concepts of Computer Science fundamentally and on an industrial level. The infrastructure here is really great and you get almost each and every facility such as laundry, Wi-Fi, warm water for baths, ACs which are all included in the fees. One thing the institute does not mention in the foundation program classes is that you'll be taught about Indian culture and Global Grand Challenges.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility criteria to get into Newton School of Technology is to appear for an exam called NSAT which is an entrance exam to test your aptitude, mathematics and English fundamentals. After you qualify this exam, you will be called for a personal interview, followed by a group discussion. You will be selected after clearing the aforementioned tests and criteria.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are really the best. They are industry experts who have worked in the IT industry for several years and have great teaching skills for you to learn and grasp the concepts. They use updated resources and equipment like apple vision pro, and you will be provided with a personal MacBook pro for enhancement in your learning. The faculties are present till late night for the students to conduct doubt clearance sessions.
 

Placement Rating
Due to the institute being new, there are no official placement records but according to my knowledge, the average package last year was around 12 LPA -13 LPA, and the highest package was around 68 LPA -70 LPA. Also, the professors have a strong networking, and the Placement Cell is great. We also get many paid internship opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, this institute also comes with residential facilities, and they are the best. Hostels are fully equipped with Air-Conditioners, 24x7 running hot water and Wi-Fi accessibility is present.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure here is really great and as an Indian student, it feels like I am studying in an abroad university. When it comes to mess, the food quality is really great, and they offer us a variety of meals. Although, the campus only has vegetarian options. The classrooms are good, and we get the facility of live lecture recordings at the academic portal which comes in handy, if you miss any of the lectures.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is also great, apart from the fact that it is built in an area of 25 acres but there are always some events which keep happening in the campus. Hackathons and guest lectures are amazing, and fests are organised here.

    My experience with this institute is a rollercoaster. It is a relatively new college, there's many things that are still developing, but the foundation principle is strong.
