Overall Rating
Overall, Newton School of Technology is good. You will find all kind of activities here like sports, club, and fests. The college life here is also not that bad. The mess food is good, and the hostels are cleaned every day.
 

Academics Rating
Weekly contest happens on Fridays mostly, they hold about 20% marks, and they are added in the final marksheet. Mid-semester exams hold about 20% marks. End-semester exams hold about 30% marks. Assignments/viva hold let’s say 30% marks. So overall, this is the structure. The percentage may vary according to the course outline.
The fee structure for the first year is:
1. seat block fee: Rs. 50,000
2. Caution deposit: Rs. 25,000 The fee for the first year is Rs. 6,27,500 from second year: Rs. 5,52,500.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of Newton School of Technology is really supportive. The method of teaching depends on the course. Let’s say if it’s Python, then they have the PPT presentation, which has basics learning. We have labs that are for the practice. There will be some assignments in the portal that you have to complete during lab hours. If you have, any doubts while solving professors will be there to support.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure here is really good. The facilities are really good. In the college, the library is open until 2 AM. There are 2 cafes: one of them is Cafe Coffee Day (CCD) that is open from morning 9 AM to 10 PM. the other cafe is really affordable, and its timings are from 9 AM to 2 AM. There are labs designed for students where they can do group studies. we have open spaces where all can meet and work on the projects and learn together.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life here is good. I mean apart from the small campus, rest its good. There are many clubs. The most of these clubs are student driven. Sports activities can be enjoyed with friends at any time till 11 PM. - There are 2 main fests: Neutron and DAMRU.

    My experience with this institute is a rollercoaster. It is a relatively new college, there's many things that are still developing, but the foundation principle is strong.     This institute has a great curriculum, and you'll get to learn the concepts of Computer Science fundamentally and on an industrial level. The infrastructure here is really great and you get almost each and every facility such as laundry, Wi-Fi, warm water for baths, ACs which are all included in the fees.
