IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus BBA Review By Aditya Mishra

IMS Institute is not only one of the best Colleges in Ghaziabad but in the entire NCR. Even students from Noida and Gurgaon come and study here. The faculties of the college were more like friends. They are more than qualified to clear any doubts that we have. Now, the admissions for BBA here are a little tricky as IMS has put the entrance as a criterion to get admissions here. The entrance is tough and to get past that, one needs to prepare well. Now, students who want to pursue other interests can grow in their respective fields. IMSUC gives them enough chances to show their skills. If I have to name our college, I would name it an institute full of events. I have cleared all doubts that IMSUC is best for BBA.

BBA is not that tough but IMSUC has made it tough by giving more and more assignments. Even the case studies that we were given were of MBA level students. Along with the BBA program, we were offered many more things. Domain specializations right from the second semester. The contribution that faculties made is beyond words.

Faculties were super cooled as most of them I used to call friends. They gave us the freedom to ask them almost anything. The experiences teachers gave us an immersive experience in learning. They combined studies with exposure and made IMSUC one of the best colleges for pursuing BBA. Students’ skills and knowledge in all domains. Operations, marketing, and finance is sharp right from the beginning. Most of the students went on to pursue PGDM or MBA. I won’t say I was a pro in my PG college but wasn’t naïve either. For that, more than anything, I will thank the faculties of IMSUC.

CV with add-ons was offered jobs by companies like Philips, Sony, Aditya Birla, and others. BBA students were offered salaries of around 25k which is good enough. ESOP, joining bonuses, and others were extra perks that students were offered. Most students were eligible for placements. The college management and faculties wanted us to pursue higher studies. And most students gave it a shot. No matter where we are today, our nurturing happened at IMSUC.

At the IMSUC campus, there are hostels for both boys and girls. Two huge buildings with 40-50 rooms in each hostel. The hostel rooms were allotted on a sharing basis. The fees of the hostels were genuine as the kind of food provided in that fee was an add-on. Even the day scholars like us used to have our lunch at the mess. The students that I know stayed at the hostels and enjoyed their hostel life to the core. The curfew timings were followed because even if you trespass the hostel gate. The main gate had high-level security which was impossible to breach. I said at the start that I would name this college the college of events. The college events were galore and hostel students had their events. Day Scholars could take part in those but were allowed to come and watch. The college has always promoted equality. Thus the hostel events were common for both boys and girls. More than competition between the two hostels. It was a joint event. Where students of both hostels participated together in dance, music, or drama activities.

NH 24 was at the forefront of development as soon as the BJP government came into power. So, the highway had nothing today. Has some of the best business centers, malls, and restaurants. So, the area close to the college was quite happening. The campus is not so huge but the areas of the college are well divided. Most construction at the campus is new as the college went into redevelopment a year before I joined. All the classes now have ACs in them. Along with a canteen, there’s also a Maggie point at the campus. Some sporting facilities, a library, and a seminar hall for guest lectures.

Events started in August and went on till March. In December the intercollegiate fest PULSE takes place. And before it ends, the food festival preparations start at the campus. In February every year, an annual event of the BBA branch MARKFEST takes place. And in March the farewell function. All the days, be it Friendship Day, Rose Day, or Valentine's Day, are celebrated at the campus. One can never have enough of the campus because events will never end and yet the studies will be front runners. The college has managed its schedule so that you don’t have to pick and choose between the one. You can divide your time both for studies and college events.
