Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University: My Views

Overall Rating
My overall experience at RTMNU was good; we've all heard stories about RTMNU. The level of the exams is easy till the 3rd-4th Semester, but it gets really tough in the 5th - 6th semester. Overall, it is a good university.
 

Academics Rating
The course is divided into 6 semesters. The duration of the course is 3 years. The exams are conducted twice a year. If a student fails any of the semesters, he/she can re-appear in the following semester and pass the exam. My motive for enrollment in this exam was for a basic commerce degree, and Nagpur being my hometown, I chose this university.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties of the university are good, they know what they were hired for and provide all the knowledge they can. Some of the faculties are chill and are friendly with the students while some are highly professional and only want a professional relationship with their students. They are helpful and will eventually do their best for the students.
 

Placement Rating
I did not opt for placement after graduation as I wanted to pursue Company Secretary. My main motive for pursuing Bachelor of Commerce from this university was to have a commerce degree and pursue a professional course as well. I do not have any knowledge about the placements of the university.
 

Hostel Rating
Again, as I am a Nagpur citizen, I didn't need to opt for hostel. As far as I know, the hostel for boys is different and is a little far away from the university. Same goes for the girl’s hostel, and it is also a little far away.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The old infrastructure of RTMNU was good and accessible from most parts of the city, but the university built a new spacious infrastructure and is very good, there is enough parking available for both 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers. The students and the faculties parking is the same. The university is filled with libraries, playground, and lots of amenities.
 

Campus Rating
My overall experience at the university was good. The crowd of the campus is good as well, not great though. The university has a fest each year, but I have not attended one ever. The university comes up with different activities throughout the year for the students and keeps the students busy throughout the year.

    I am in 2nd year of my college and till now I can say that the college is not that much good not only in terms of academics but also extra-curricular things as well. This college does not provide any placement also. No fests, only sports in terms of extra-curricular activities are performed. Only thing good here is the admission fee which is very less. But if you are coming from learning point of view, I will not recommend you this college.... Read Full Review

    Institute of science, Nagpur is best college for bachelor's degree in pure science in Central India. It is government autonomous college which is the main reason to choose this is very reputed college. Now in India only few colleges curriculum is according to NEP this college is one of them that's why you should take admission in this college.... Read Full Review

    Overall Rating
    I got admitted to MIET college which comes under RTMN university. The overall experience of mine at the college was not much satisfactory. Even choosing computer branch, which was trending at that time, the college failed to provide any job opportunities or guidance to the students.
