An Experience at RTMNU

Overall Rating
I got admitted to MIET college which comes under RTMN university. The overall experience of mine at the college was not much satisfactory. Even choosing computer branch, which was trending at that time, the college failed to provide any job opportunities or guidance to the students. However, the academics and campus life were satisfactory. At that time, the college had some good teachers who used to focus on our academics seriously.
 

Academics Rating
The college was admitting students on the basis of their AIEEE or MHT CET score during that time. Students need to have good score in CET exam or AIEEE for admission to computer engineering course. The course was very new during our time and only few colleges had this course. I enrolled in the program because I wanted to join the trend of the new technology and I actually liked the course.
 

Faculty Rating
We had some very good faculties who used to teach us everything in detail and through practical or projects. These faculties had completed their master's or doctorates degree. Also, they had good experience of teaching though this course was very new. They also setup very good course and curriculum to meet the syllabus as well as industrial needs.
 

Placement Rating
The college did not provide any placements opportunities; hence we had to go for off campus hiring. The college has still not improved its placement cell.
 

Hostel Rating
There was no hostel in college as everybody were native students or living in nearby towns. College cafeteria was actually very good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college was very good. It was spread in acres of land. There are separate buildings for various branches in the college. A big well-maintained ground is present at the front side of the college. Computer labs and mechanical workshops were present. Wi-Fi is present in labs only. A common library in each building was present.
 

Campus Rating
I experienced a good campus life. There were events like freshers' party, fashion shows, farewell. Ganapati festival was also popularly celebrated in college. Sports competition like inter batch or seniors Vs juniors for various indoor and outdoor games like chess, carom, Badminton, Cricket, Kabaddi were organized actively every year. Some social clubs like NSS used to plan cleanliness and tree plantation drives.

    Overall Rating
    I am in 2nd year of my college and till now I can say that the college is not that much good not only in terms of academics but also extra-curricular things as well. This college does not provide any placement also. No fests, only sports in terms of extra-curricular activities are performed. Only thing good here is the admission fee which is very less. But if you are coming from learning point of view, I will not recommend you this college.... Read Full Review

    Institute of science, Nagpur is best college for bachelor's degree in pure science in Central India. It is government autonomous college which is the main reason to choose this is very reputed college. Now in India only few colleges curriculum is according to NEP this college is one of them that's why you should take admission in this college.... Read Full Review
