My Perspective on Oriental Institute of Science and Technology

Overall Rating
I choose this institute as I heard about this by many people around me. It's been 3 months in this institute and I can surely say that it was the best decision of my life. The faculty is very nice and kind to everyone and always helpful to us.
 

Academics Rating
Oriental Institute of Science and Technology provides all courses for engineering, medical and management students. For engineering JEE Mains is required to be qualified by the candidates. I will definitely encourage students to join this institute. Also the infrastructure and management team is good enough to handle all situations.
 

Faculty Rating
There are 5 major subjects which are taught to the students of Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science. The faculty is very nice. We all are free to ask questions and doubts. The faculty is very nice to each and everyone.
 

Placement Rating
The placement is also decent in Oriental Institute of Science and Technology. The average package for Computer Science is 4.5 lakh per annum. We do have a placement cell which has almost 7 to 8 members who belongs to or have worked in renowned companies of India and outside. It also arranges various seminars and webinars for us with technical, HR, and hiring team of companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have separate residential facilities in our institute for boys and girls. The food of hostel is decent enough to eat. It also has facilities such as gym, courts, sports room, and mess area.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is also nice. Engineering has two institutes for Pharma and management. There are various blocks such as academic, central Library and canteens for us. There are a lot of places in the campus for students to relax.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is also good enough to visit and wonder here and there in free time. The crowd is also decent enough. There are 2 fests conducted every year for us. Apart from it there are various clubs for students for overall improvement of students. There are other programs which are held with tie ups from other companies.

    I have taken admission in 2024. I chose this Institute because of its fee structure. It is a very good Institute in Bhopal. The way the teachers teach is very unique and good. In other Institutes, the teachers focus only on completing the syllabus. But, in this Institute they focus on the growth of the students. Overall, my personal experience at this Institute is good....     The campus of college is not such big but it is of average size. The experience in the Institute till now is just ok. We have to hustle for 75% attendance in the college and write many assignments on daily basis. After that all we have is some friends from different corners of India and with them we make fun and do some activities. I chose this college because I have got a tuition fee welfare seat.     Overall this institute is not for someone who has an expectation of all fun and enjoyment in college, you can get good academics and opportunities, but they are really strict with their curriculum and management. This institute is well reputed in our city that is Bhopal and is also well recognised among some major companies.     Engineering to me was purely because of my elder brother who finished his engineering and made me feel that this is the only course which has some scopes. I had some doubts and concerns but thanks to Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal as all those vanished in just a month. If one thinks engineering is boring then I would recommend them our institute as we have more fun than studies. So well balanced academics here that one has liberty to do all that he/she wants....
