What Every Student Should Know About OIST Bhopal

Overall Rating
I have taken admission in 2024. I chose this Institute because of its fee structure. It is a very good Institute in Bhopal. The way the teachers teach is very unique and good. In other Institutes, the teachers focus only on completing the syllabus. But, in this Institute they focus on the growth of the students. Overall, my personal experience at this Institute is good.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. For admission, the students have to score good marks in the JEE Main exam. After that, you have to appear for MPDTE counseling. OIST Bhopal conducts 2 semesters’ exams in a year. One semester consists of 6 months.
The fee of my course is around Rs. 50,000/- per semester. We can pay the fee in installments as well. The students have to pay the registration fee of MPDTE counseling which is of Rs. 1530/-.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of OIST Bhopal have good knowledge in their respective subjects. They are well experienced and they treat us like their own child. They teach us with the help of PPTs, etc. They use both Hindi and the English language. My bonding with the teachers is quite good and they encourage us to think out of the box. We can also share our personal problems with them.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Institute has placement cell. Around 70% of students got o campus placements. The companies offer good packages to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the Institute offers hostel facilities to the students. The hostel fee is affordable. The hostel has limited seats. The mess is also there which provides good quality of good to the students. Apart from this, laundry facilities are also available at the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has more than 10 buildings. The classrooms are huge and have the seating capacity of around 80 students. The classrooms have good quality of benches and digital boards. The campus has auditorium which has the seating capacity of around 800 students and a library which has more than 15,000 collections of books. Transportation and sports facilities are also available for the students.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life till now is quite good and interesting. The campus has huge crowd. There are several clubs which are run by the students. It helps students in enhancing their skills. The Institute organise a cultural festival for the students.

    The campus of college is not such big but it is of average size. The experience in the Institute till now is just ok. We have to hustle for 75% attendance in the college and write many assignments on daily basis.     Overall this institute is not for someone who has an expectation of all fun and enjoyment in college, you can get good academics and opportunities, but they are really strict with their curriculum and management. This institute is well reputed in our city that is Bhopal and is also well recognised among some major companies.   • Placement Opportunities at OIST Bhopal

    Engineering to me was purely because of my elder brother who finished his engineering and made me feel that this is the only course which has some scopes. I had some doubts and concerns but thanks to Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal as all those vanished in just a month. If one thinks engineering is boring then I would recommend them our institute as we have more fun than studies. So well balanced academics here that one has liberty to do all that he/she wants....     Yes, OIST Bhopal is not a tier-1 institute but it is still a institute that can be considered as a rebound if one has failed to get a tier-1 institute.
