Overall Rating
I chose this college because it's an NIT, as a NITian. We have our benefits in terms of placements, etc. NIT Manipur is at 95th position in NIRF ranking. The placements are also quiet decent which is why I chose this college. If you want to join in north west part of India this is the good college.
 

Academics Rating
Academics were the best part of this college. Qualifying in jee mains entrance exam with a good and decent rank is the eligibility for getting a seat in our college. Our college offers B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc., and Ph.D. programs such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. (4/5)
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty was good. Every professor is a Ph.D holder with great knowledge. They will teach in English which is convenient to all the students. The entire faculty was very supportive, helpful in improving our technical and practical knowledge. They help us to get a job for sure. There are 8 semesters in total.
 

Placement Rating
The placements were quite good in our college. Before one year, one my seniors got placed in Amazon with a decent package. The placements were good for both CSE and ECE branches. In 100% placements record overall 70-75% students got placed.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of our college is ok. The classrooms and labs are quite good. Medical services are also available. Our college will provide whatever is required. Main issues occur only during the rainy season because of heavy rain fall.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is the most important part for a student. There are clubs in the college like coding club, dancing club, singing club, arts club, etc. We need to participate in our interested areas. Our college fest is Ougri, many students participate in it. We have another sports program were many students are involved.

Alumni achievements, high employment rates, and strong industry connections to all quality of education and support provided.     My college is overall a good place for engineering students, apart from a few things which pissed me off such as inadequate infrastructure, unresponsive management, etc. The location of my college is amazing alongside the scenes and views.     I am the first PwD (Person with Disabilities) student at NIT Manipur. The placements at NIT Manipur are good and the faculty is also very supportive. Being a PwD student I find the infrastructure not so good and I hope that in future it will be solved. I chose NIT because of the placements it offers.     My experience at NIT Manipur is well going and I am enjoying this place since it is surrounded by nature beauty from all sides. Administration and academics is very strict here. Since my JEE rank is around 38,000 so I got ECE branch here by CSAB counseling. Here placements are going well on-campus and off-campus and currently this year (2022-2023) about 149/170 students were placed.
