Great teachers and academics

Overall Rating
Academics are good but infrastructure is average. I chose this college because of the rank I got in NEET. Overall, academics and teaching wise, the college is good. There will be a one year paid internship in the last year of college. They provide an opportunity to indulge in research work and publish it. The clinical exposure is quite okay.
 

Academics Rating
Academics are good with internal exams being conducted monthly and good clinical exposure for practical experience. The eligibility for enrolling in this college is by getting good marks in NEET. The yearly fee for the course is Rs.3,00,000/- and the course duration is 5.5 years. My motive for enrolling in this course was because I was interested in medicine.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are good, knowledgeable and experienced. They are kindhearted and the way of teaching is through projector and ppt. The classes are interactive, and we have practical classes in the hospital. There is also a skill lab where they teach basic life support and minimum skills and, a cath lab in the college.
 

Placement Rating
There are no placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are available. Overall, the hostels are average with small rooms but good food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is not up to the mark. We don’t get books in the college for the course, we have to purchase them with our own money. The building structure looks average, and the roads are not proper. I think there should be proper hygiene and proper ventilation in the classrooms.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good with friends. There are sports, fests, quizzes which are conducted regularly. They provide you the opportunity for publishing a research paper of your own. Fests are conducted every year where many people gather. There are also regular CME programs conducted in the auditorium. Overall campus Life is good.

    The Oxford Medical College Hospital and Research Centre is quite good with exceptional professors and all the amenities it provides with newly built lecture halls and a new library with all subject books. College is situated outside the chaotic city in a peaceful environment but it lacks transport facilities all time but BMTC busses are available every hour and you can get auto rickshaws any time near hospital premises....     My experience is a mix of both good and bad. Academics were good and we had very good memories with our friends and college. I am unsatisfied with the fees structure.
