My Experience as a Nowgong College Student

Overall Rating
My experience at Nowgong College is great. Our college also has an indoor stadium, a GYM for students.The college as a whole is also great with a good study environment, and I am very satisfied with it as a student.
 

Academics Rating
The course I am studying is B.Sc, with major in Physics. To be eligible for admission in Science stream, you must at least get 60% or above marks in your previous exam from your respective board. Science stream provides various departments of your choice, where you can study the subject you are interested.
 

Faculty Rating
In our Physics department, we have 5 professors and 3 non-teaching staff. All our professors are very experienced in their field and their teaching methods are great. The laboratory assistants also help us in our practical. Professors also provide us notes from various sources. Overall, our department has very good and helpful faculty members.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell is not available in Nowgong College.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have a hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Nowgong College is not very big as college is situated in the middle of the town. Different departments in our college are located in various buildings for practicals and teaching rooms. We also have a basketball ground.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life in our college is also great. We celebrate and arrange varieties of programs in our college. Every year, we have a college week for students who are interested in sports to show their talents. We also have college fest where singers are invited, it is usually held together with the freshers to welcome our new students.

    The reason I chose Nowgong College is that it is near my house (about 3 KM away). It is the best college in the middle Assam.
