I had to think for a while before starting as there are so many good aspects of ‘MIT Muzaffarpur’. Firstly, the economic part, and that is the fees. If I start from the fees and give a small breakup, we would have to pay 20k as the admission fees and 2700 per semester as exam fees and education fee of 500 every year. This was it, and even in this many scholarships were awarded and students who were OBC or SC/ST the fees was 1/4th of this. The second-best aspect was the time management here as many students were preparing for UPSC, CAT, GMAT, or GATE. One other good aspect that I should mention is that you will find friends for life here. In engineering life, many unfavorable conditions come, and in those tough times, you need your friends around. I have got plenty of such friends and I am grateful to each one of them for life. These are some of the aspects that I have covered; there are many more which I wish I could cover in the remaining part of my review.

If I have drawn your attention to some of the good aspects, then let me tell you: academics is the best aspect of the College. No crap activities in the name of studies as our projects came from industry and they were the ones who judged us. Now, self-study was given the most prominent attention here as every faculty member made sure we did enough self-study. Not studying our engineering subjects but preparing for some of the toughest competitive exams as many students of MIT Muzaffarpur rank in almost all the toughest entrances held in India.

I am quite happy to mention their role in our development. Bihar is one state which is poor in English and the importance of English is such that in India it is considered as a skill rather than a language. So, we were taught the same way that this is an efficient skill which we have to master at any cost, because only then we will stand a chance to work in MNCs or crack the toughest interviews for which we were preparing. They did their part in raising our strengths apart from academics as some of the College's clubs were headed by our faculties.

Since I have been quite honest till now, I will describe this part too. Placement conditions here are not that good as top companies have their reservations at IIT, Patna, and NIT, Patna. MIT is third on the list and they come here with very few numbers up for grabs. For the same positions and roles that are offered to NIT and IIT students, MIT students were offered half, even though the ones who qualify for the job are better than the ones they hire from NIT or IIT. I am not the one who is saying this, but this is true.

For hostels again I will start with the best aspect and that is the fees. It has increased a little now, but, in our time, it was 7000 a year. For the first two-year students, 3-bedded rooms are allotted and then from 3rd year, rooms with 2 beds are allotted. Rooms were ok as I have been to lavish hostels, so can't compare this with the top hostels; but if one sees the fees that they charged, it was worth it. For the mess, we had to pay ₹ 1400 a month, in which we were given breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The quality may not be great, but the food provided was edible.

The MIT Muzaffarpur campus is huge and has all the facilities that one can ask for. I would say it has more facilities than were required. A branch of SBI bank that opens student accounts with 0 balance for a lifetime. To date, I have that account operational. Medical facilities are world-class; a mini-hospital has been built inside the campus with doctors available 24*7. The sports room was an area which is not in good aspect as the students have damaged it and the management hasn't bothered renovating it. There are two canteens in the space of one building and both of them serve food and beverages at subsidized rates.

Don't comprehend the kind of dance that students of Super 30 did in the film, as the campus had way better dancers. The dance club of the College has won competitions at IIT Kanpur and other platforms wherever they have performed. The other club of which I was a part was 'JUNOON'. JUNOON is a debate club and students who remain active with this club are sure to do great things in life. The club has manufactured many IAS, and IPS officers as this is one of the oldest clubs in the College.
