Odisha University of Technology and Research B.Tech Review By Aryan Mishra

It was my dream to crack NEET and be part of a prominent University / Institute / University. For the same I prepared for NEET after 12th but I could not crack it. I gave JEE mains exam and my marks in it were 81%. Due to this reason I joined OUTR because this is a good University. It was recommended to me by my relatives. They stated that it is a great University to be in and the placements offered are also good. The highest package was around 44 LPA and the average package was around 6 LPA and this was enough for me so that I now I like this University very much.

OUTR is a best University in my opinion because the faculties are very cooperative and they solve all my doubts and problems related to their subjects and the other thing is that the faculty adviser is very lenient and by seeing my financial condition he told me to apply for scholarship. This is a very good University and all the teachers and faculties are very cooperative. They told me about from the beginning how to crack any top MNC’s like Amazon, Microsoft, hacker rank, American Express, etc. Lots of companies come to our University for hiring our students and eligibility criteria of our University is that the student needs to score at least 1,00,000 rank in JEE mains. Our University does not take admission on the basis of 10th and 12th marks. This is a good option for me. I am studying electrical Engineering in this University and the highest package of our branch is around 32 LPA. From 160 students, 106 students crack campus and join various good companies. Our University also offer M.Tech, MBA, Integrated M.Sc, MCA, M.Plan, B.Plan, etc.

Our faculty is very cooperative. They are very lenient and they solve all our problems treat us like their own children. There are no word to say how the facilities of OUTR. All lecturers are not lenient, there is a strict lecturers in our University but their strictness is only for studies. I love my faculties very much.

Placement in OUTR is quite good after NIT Rourkela. Our University placement rate is too high and a lot of students are trying to study here for high placement. I will recommend this University for all the students to study at OUTR. Top MNC’s like Amazon, Microsoft, Hacker Rank, American Express, Cisco, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Redhat, Tpcodl, Asainpaints, come to the University for offering placements. Our University is the best University to get job in. Furthermore IT industry and various core companies like Tpcodl and Tech Mahindra and lots of other companies too visit the campus to offer positions to the brightest students. Highest package of our University is around 44 LPA and lowest package is around 3.90 LPA. The average package of our University is around 6 LPA.

The hostel of OUTR is too big. Around 1600 students are living in this hostel and the facilities of our hostel are very nice. On Sunday our hostel gives us various delicious foods such as Manchurian, chicken Loli pop. On Monday our University hostel gives us kadi pakoda with rajama chawal and the facilities of our hostel are amazing. Our University hostel also provides mutton and chicken biryani once in a week. In our hostel lift facilities is also available for this lots of students do not require stairs.

OUTR is a huge University and campus area is around 100 acres. There are around 10 buildings in our University such as lab building, block A, block B, block C, canteen and a huge hostel for both boys and girls in our University. A lot of students are studying here. Students from any corner of Odisha come to OUTR to study and our University is the best University for engineering after NIT Rourkela. Our University is one of the top engineering Universities of Odisha.

OUTR is dream of all students of Odisha because the students who do not get good marks and rank in JEE, this is the best option for them. Our campus is spread in around 100 acres of land and about 1600 students are studying here. There is a huge fest organized in our University such as Xtasy and others. A lot of students enjoy the fest. Popular celebrities are invited to our University for concert and students feel very proud to be studying in OUTR.
