University of Hyderabad M.A Review By Munde Ruma

The experience of this campus is very good because it made me feel like I am living in a competitive world where acquiring knowledge is the priority. Moreover, the university provides standard and quality education, so it attracts people from abroad. We also have people from international domains and from other states as well. The students can choose this university due to its Eminence status through which it provides standard facilities.

My course is MA in History which has 4 different courses in each semester. To get into the university, we need to appear for a common University Entrance Test, which is annually conducted by a national testing agency. There are three levels of courses in the university, first one is integrated course, 2nd one is master's, and the third one is at the Ph.D (Doctor of philosophy).

The faculty for the business history of India is Doctor Vijay Ramdas who received his master's and Ph.D from the University of Manchester London. Another faculty Anandita Mukhopadhay, her style of teaching is very good. The professor Sanjay Subodh is an expert in medieval India who teaches history with live examples and usually takes us to forts like Bhongir fort which is in the outskirts of Hyderabad and to give us a live experience.

As of now you don't have any Placement Cell in the department of history but for other departments like MBA, there are placements.

We have residential facilities in the university and whosoever gets admission will immediately get the hostel facility. The infrastructure is very good, and the hostel life is also enjoyable, which provides 24/7 water, electricity facilities including Wi-Fi.

The campus and academic blocks such as classrooms are very good with modern infrastructure and proper Air conditioner facility. We have strong infrastructure which includes Zakir Hussein lecturer complex, Savitribai Phule auditorium and complexes with the international conference also being held in these complexes only. The classrooms and the lecture hall complexes make the campus even more beautiful with their most advanced facilities.

The campus life is very good. Here we have different clubs like student clubs which provide a platform for debate and discussion. We have different student associations which are institutes of democracy and fests like Sukoon are held every year which are famous for their food and cultural activities. There are many student organisations which are affiliated to different political parties and represent student issues, it helps the students to resolve their problems and get the benefits on time. The major student organisations include Ambedkar students' association, the student federation of India, etc.
