Overall Rating
The Institute is well equipped with good faculties and infrastructure. Students opting for B.Des in Communication Design are offered special design labs. The labs are neat and are equipped with updated software’s. The Institute is good enough for students who can work hard for their future. One disadvantage of this Institute is that it lacks big celebration parties as it is a Institute that promotes peace.
 

Academics Rating
For studying at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, you have to go through an interview showcasing your eligibility such as you are capable for opting the course and a small portfolio that showcases your talents. As a design student, I had to go through an online interview for getting the admission. We have to pay 500 INR for the registration and 3000 INR as caution deposit fee. A semester costs 49,000 INR for design students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are well trained. The curriculum is updated and it includes all the recent developments in the field. They provide good labs and libraries for students. The faculties try their best to clear doubts of the students. Faculties with years of field experience are here at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi. They behave well towards their students.
 

Placement Rating
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham provides good placements from big companies. It is recognised as a deemed university and it has received an "A++" accreditation from NAAC. This Institute ranks among the top Institutes in India. The faculties try their level best to train their students for getting good placements in companies.
 

Hostel Rating
The Institute doesn't provide hostels for boys but provides hostel facility for girls. The living spaces are neat and tidy. They provide only vegetarian foods for their students as the Institute has a temple inside its premises.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Institute provides well equipped labs and libraries. The campus is cleaned daily. The computer systems are updated. Labs of Visual Media are given a professional look and it provides good tools to the students. There are 4 blocks of buildings including the girl’s hostel. The Institute provides a calm, peaceful atmosphere for their students.
 

Campus Rating
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts events peacefully and in a well-arranged manner. The events are organized by the students themselves. The Institute doesn't organize parties like other Institutes as we have a temple inside the Institute premises. The students try their level best to organize events and follow the Institute rules and regulations in a disciplined manner. Students who wish to get placed in good companies should opt for this Institute.

    Overall Rating
    Amrita is a well known Institute all over India because of its placement thus this made me choose this particular college. Knowing that the college is considered to be strict I was well prepared yet it was a bit disappointing with no enjoyment at all. Nevertheless having a bunch of good friends and some good faculties could make up for it. This particular Institute lacks entrainment but being in a department of visual media there are some events exclusively done for them.... Read Full Review
