I choose this institute because PIET is a good option for students. It is suitable for those who are looking for an affordable private institute with descent placement. Particularly in IT and management fields. However it may not be ideal for students aiming for research and world class exposure. It is best suited for students looking for opportunities.

The curriculum is descent and in line with university norms. It focuses on practical and theoretical learning, and the faculty members are generally experienced and supportive. Being affiliated with Kurukshetra University it follows a set syllabus and it may not always match the latest industry trends. Some students feel that the teaching is average depending on the department. I have heard placements here are very good.

Many faculty members hold advanced degree and have relevant experience of teaching or industry experience. They are generally experienced and knowledgeable in their particular subjects. Most professors are willing to help students outside of class hours and helping them to solve their problem in easy and under stable way. They also provide assistance with project work and internship, the faculty empathizes practical learning and skill enhancement through workshops.

PIET has a good placement record in comparison to other regional institutes or universities. Companies like Wipro, Cognizant and many more visits the campus and offers students a good placement and internship. The institute also focuses on free placement training.

Accommodation facilities are provided by the institute to the students. The overall facilities provided in the hostel are good and well maintained. The hostel has 24x7 security and CCTV surveillance in place, providing a safe and secure environment to the students living in the hostel.

The institute building is well maintained with proper wood finishing and all the equitable things. The campus is modern and well maintained with facilities like smart classroom, lab, auditorium, well stocked library and sport area complex. Some students feel the library and lab resources can be improved further especially in terms of advanced appearance and equipments. Overall the buildings are good. Campus is generally clean with regular maintenance of rooms, common areas and washrooms. Hygiene standards are maintained properly if compared to other private institutes in the other regions. The campus is well planned with a modern architecture design including AC auditorium for events and seminars, smart classroom, well equipped lab and libraries.

The campus host various cultural and technical sports event throughout the year such as cultural fest, technical event and sports meet. Active clubs and societies for interest like robotics, debate, music and photography allow students to explore their talents.
