PIET Panipat: Excellent Environment with Experienced Faculty

Overall Rating
I am in the second year at PIET Panipat. The experience I am having here is one of the best and I am making memories that will last me a lifetime. The crowd at the Institute is great. You will be able to make many friends here. One thing that I believe helps this Institute stands out is its placements.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.Tech in Information Technology because I was keen to study and know more about the same. This course is highly relevant in the current times and there are ample job opportunities. Entry requirements and eligibility criteria of my Institute are based on Class 12th marks. Students get admission here only if there score was good in senior secondary.
The fee is around Rs. 1,39,000/- and the transportation fee is around Rs. 27,000/-. There is no discount in the fees for general category students. Other category students do get discounts on their total fees.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is good but some of the faculty members are strict. The academic backgrounds of the faculty members are good. They all are Ph.D holders and quite knowledgeable and intelligent. The teacher student ratio is good and sufficient attention is delivered to each student.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell is good. Many companies like Infosys visit our Institute.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are separate girls and boys hostels offered to the students by the Institute.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are four blocks at PIET Panipat. Each building has around 5 floors and each floor has around 25 rooms and along with labs. There is an auditorium by the name 'APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium'. There are many seminar halls in the Institute and each is them is very big. The auditorium has a seating capacity of around 500 students. The canteen is the best. And medical facilities are also available in the Institute.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is average and there are many students studying at the Institute. There are many clubs in my Institute like 'Mechrous', 'Markodyssey', 'Riyaaz', 'Mudra', etc. for varied interests of students. There are two fest major organised in my Institute every year in the month of September and April. The name of the September fest. These are known as ‘Carbuncle’ and the other is ‘Maestros’. The experience of life at this Institute is the best and I would highly recommend the Institute.

    I chose Panipat Institute of Engineering & Technology (PIET), because it is a medical and technical College and it is near to me located at Delhi NCR. It is best option for the students who want to do engineering and medical courses from a private college/Institution or University. Its highest package is 45 lakh.     The infrastructure of college is good. Also teachers are also very good, well educated and helpful. Monthly events are organized by the college. Some sports are also available. Hostel and mess are average. My decision behind choosing this college is that I didn't get admission in any another college because of my low percentage.
