My experience at National Forensic Sciences University

Overall Rating
It's a good university and students will be satisfied with what they were provided by the university. There should be an improvement in infrastructure but according to the academics, it’s good and the faculties are best because they offer good guidance. The university serves only vegetarian options and the foods in the hostel are also good.
 

Academics Rating
This university offers specialization in all the forensic related courses. Here students can apply for B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, BBA, LL. B and also have integrated courses. Bachelor’s programs applicants must have above 70% score in 12th board. Fees will be taken semester wise. In the B.Tech-M.tech course, you can specialize in Cyber Security. In the science stream there are multiple courses like toxicology, ballistics, and Bio-cyber security. The university also offers good law courses and business courses.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is fine. They all are approved doctorates and hold Ph.Ds. The faculties teach their subject very well and guide students towards a good career path. They also share personal experiences with students and clarify their doubts. The faculties are really supportive and also help students in gaining practical exposure.
 

Placement Rating
There are no placements in the university till now as the first batch of the university still has 2 years before they graduate.
 

Hostel Rating
Actually, the university hostel is only available for 1st year students. After the completion of 1st year students have to leave the university hostel. There are so many accommodation facilities outside the university for students like PGs and flats.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is a volleyball court and table tennis for sports. The university has more lawn area for students to spend some quality time. It has 2 libraries and specialized computer labs. There are two main buildings. In the near future the university will be relocated and may have better infrastructure than the present one. There are canteens for students. It has a good security system.
 

Campus Rating
The university has some activities like NCC and NSS and there is also a sports club like Kabaddi, volleyball club, badminton club, and also indoor games like caroms and chess. There are various clubs regarding studies like literature and forensic clubs. Every year there are events for students like fresher's party. Sports fest is conducted once a year.

    NFSU Delhi is one of the best colleges and comes under the Ministry of Home Affairs from the Central Government and also holdes the INI importance.
