The Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science (LNJN-NICFS) started operations in 1972. It was later named as the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) in 2020. The University has been granted the Institution of National Importance status by UGC. Moreover, it is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
The NFSU Delhi runs around 5 departments namely Department of Management Studies, Department of Cyber Security & Digital Forensics, Department of Law, Forensic Justice and Policy Studies, to name a few. It offers UG, PG, Diploma, and Doctoral programs to the students at an economical fee structure in fields like Engineering, Humanities, Management, Law, etc. The University is famous for offering world-class education to the students along with experiential learning opportunities.

Admission Process
The NFSU Delhi admission forms can be filled via online mode through the University’s official website. The eligible students are granted admission based on their merit marks in the qualifying examination & the requisite entrance test / GATE scores (as applicable to the respective program).
The NFSU Delhi has a dedicated Placement Cell that works dedicatedly to connect students with potential employers. They organise various activities & events to prepare students for the job market. The NFSU Delhi Placement drive is also conducted to facilitate the students with excellent employment opportunities.

The NFSU Delhi Campus is spread across a huge land & has world-class infrastructural facilities to provide a conducive learning environment to the students.
