Overall Rating
First of all the location of MANIT is at high altitude so the climate is good and it makes it one of the best places. MANIT, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology is spread in the area of 650 acres. The greenery makes the campus attractive and beautiful. MANIT is founded in 1960 and its old name was Maulana Azad College of Technology. After 2000 the NIT act came in existence and the college name changed to MANIT: Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
 

Academics Rating
Basic eligibility to get admission here is to qualify the JEE main exam. Academics of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal is very good. MANIT’s NIRF ranking is 72 and it follows latest curriculum design according to the new education policy 2020. Two exams are conducted in a year. First one is mid-term which is of 20 marks and end-term exam of 40 marks. Remaining 40 marks is divided in ten marks for attendance and 30 marks for assignment/quiz.
 

Faculty Rating
Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal has very qualified and experienced faculties. Our respected director sir has done his B. Tech from Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur. He also has an M.Tech degree that was completed by him from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology. He has now completed 5 years as a director of NIT Jamshedpur. Most of the professors and associate professors have done Ph.D and doctorate so they are well qualified.
 

Placement Rating
Placement rate of college is good whether we talk branch wise or overall. In 2024 the highest package was from computer science engineering branch and the placement rate of CSE branch is 90%.
 

Hostel Rating
In Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal, there are 12 hostels. These 12 hostels are bifurcated into 10 boy’s hostel and 2 girl’s hostel. Girl’s hostels are numbered as H7 and H12. All the hostels except that are boy’s hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal was formed in 1960 so infrastructure and architecture is old and unique. New infrastructure was made in the year 2015 new teaching block was made. First year classes are also run in new block and a separate building in under construction for first year students. Most probably new building will be inaugurated in 2025.
 

Campus Rating
Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal consist many clubs in various fields. We have robotics club, literature club, music clubs, etc. Cultural festival of MANIT is Maffick. In maffick we invite famous celebrities. In 2024 Stebin Ben gave his dynamic performance. We have central India’s biggest language club that is named Tooryanad. This is celebrated on 14 September. It consists of many events like cultural fashion show, Kavi Sammelan, etc.

The factors that made me choose this college is its competitiveness, opportunities, and a good placement. Since our college is an institute of National Importance, many top companies visit here to offer on campus placements. The placement rate is about 85 to 90 percent.     My overall experience till now is too good in college. The faculty members are good and seniors are also supportive except few. I got this college after my JEE Main rank. It was the best option for me. The lush green campus spread across 650 acre is different from other colleges.
