Why Joining NIAT Hyderabad was the Right Choice for Me?

Overall Rating
If I had to describe my experience in one line, I would say I have learned much more than I expected. Every semester has challenged me in a different way, whether through projects, coding, or teamwork. There are busy weeks when the workload feels overwhelming, but those are also the times I have improved the most. I have made good friends, learned from supportive faculty, and gained confidence by trying things I had never done before.
 

Academics Rating
One thing that surprised me about the academics is that learning does not stop when the lecture ends. Almost every topic is followed by coding exercises, projects, or practical work, so you actually get to use what you have learned. That made the subjects much easier for me to understand. The classes are interactive.
Before taking admission, I was a little worried about the fee. However, after spending some time here, I feel it is not just about paying for a degree, it is also for the extra learning, projects and career support we receive. The tuition fees is around per year making the total around Rs. 16,00,000/-, along with a onetime registration fee of Rs.1200/-. The best part is the scholarship, which many students use to reduce their tuition fees including mine.
 

Faculty Rating
For me the best part about faculty is that they never make you feel uncomfortable for asking questions. Whether it is a small doubt or a project related issue, they are patient and always ready to help. They also keep encouraging us to improve our problem solving skills instead of simply giving us the answers. I like that they regularly check on our progress and motivate us to participate in coding contests, workshops, and other learning activities. It feels like they are genuinely interested in helping students grow, not just complete the syllabus.
 

Placement Rating
As a current student, I have not gone through the final placement process yet, but I can see that the preparation starts much earlier. We are encouraged to build strong projects, keep our GitHub and resumes updated, and improve our coding skills every semester. The Institute also conducts mock interviews and career guidance sessions, which help us boost our confident. Internship opportunities are shared regularly, so we get a chance to gain experience even before placements begin.
 

Hostel Rating
The infrastructure has been good since the starting. The classrooms are spacious, the labs are well-equipped and the Wi-Fi works well across the campus, which is really helpful for coding and online learning. I also like that there are enough places I sit and study outside the classroom, whether it is the library or the common areas. The gym, sports facilities, and cafeteria make campus life more enjoyable. Overall, the campus has all the facilities I need, so I can focus on both my studies and daily life without any problem.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure has been good since the starting. Campus Rating
What I like most about campus life is that there is always something to do. Even on normal days, you will see students discussing ideas, practicing coding, or preparing for competitions together. The clubs and workshops give us a chance to learn new things outside the classroom, and they are also a good way to meet people from different branches. During breaks, the cafeteria and common areas are always full of students chatting or working on projects. Overall, the atmosphere is friendly, and it is easy to feel connected with the people around you.

    I am a student at NIAT and currently I am in my 3rd year. I am from btech CSE background and my experience till date is very good. The curriculum is very updated and it does not follow old out dated syllabus that are of no use for the real world and industry exposure. The curriculum is very tech oriented and it's making us ready for the real world outside college.
