Rajiv Gandhi Bhopal University Fee Structure and Scholarships

I had overall very good experience of UIT RGPV Bhopal. My college helped me a lot to build myself a good engineer. The college is located at very good place in Bhopal city with availability of every single facilities that student need in the college. Mostly the infrastructure and high placement rate influenced me to choose this college. The return on investment is different thing from the other colleges, which is incomparable.

The course of B. Tech. is fully designed with keeping in the mind of industry needs and the syllabus match with the industry Norms that help to build Practical approach Among students in the college life. Jee mains examination is required to Take admission in the College by participating in MPDTE councelling process. The frequency of Examination is in every 6 Month of the semester. Academic prepares me for the real world problem solving Ability.

I had chosen the Bachelor's in Technology from Mechanical engineering, which includes fee of Rs. 23,500 per year and other services are free. There is discount for the students who are admitted through Tuition fee waiver (TFW) scheme. There is a scholarship available for the OBC, SC, and ST, which is called post metric scholarship. This scholarship is only offered to Madhya Pradesh domicile students.

Faculties are very helpful to the students. Most of the faculty serves in the contractual basis to the institute. The method of teaching is excellent and understandable by each student. There is 1:10 student to teacher ratio. I have very good bonding with teachers, as they are very approachable.

There is a training and placement department, which deals with the placement of the students. The training and placement cell offers good training to the students, which help them to reach their dream company. There is a frequent placement and discussion sessions held by the top department also top departments takes group discussion and personal interview. the major company visit in my college are Volvo Eicher, TCS , Wipro , Arvind Envision, INOX air products , Hovels, IBM , Infosys, Mahindra Tech, Bajaj finance, Tata Motors, and Reliance. The highest package from college is 12 LPA, lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA from the college. I did not have any placement from my college because I am not willing to take placement.

UIT RGPV Bhopal provides residential facility to the students and faculty both. There are four boy’s hostels and three girl’s hostels. Every hostel has single room with two students in each room. Girls and boys hostels are separate. Main food is average but hygiene is very good. Hostel fees are Rs. 4,800 per year with Rs. 4000 once as a caution money that is refundable. There are restricted timings from 10 PM to 6:00 AM. Other than that they are no rules in the hostel. Hostel is very good students are very helpful. Hostels provide every basic amenities and facilities that any student needs.

The campus size of the institute is very big as it is made in 250 acres. Every department has connected pathway. Locality is very good nearby there is a Gandhinagar market which offers every essential items in very reasonable rates. Classroom has capacity of around 100 students for sitting with all furniture like table bench with good ventilation and fans. There is a availability of central library and seminar halls. There is also auditorium and conference all for seminars and session. There is a central canteen for the college. There is also Amul parlor, which provides some fast food and snacks for students. There is a medical wellness centre for the regular check up of the students there is also a transport facility of electric vehicles rickshaw in the campus. Campus is highly secured with the high definition CCTV and very high-qualified guards. My favorite thing in the college is the temple, which helps to maintain my religious values. College has knowledge resource centre which of us 24/7 internet facility with computer in fully air condition environment.

My overall campus life is very good and balanced. College crowd is good and well-behaved Mostly the students are from Madhya Pradesh and Rewa Division. There is very friendly environment in the campus. It also has a lush green environment with zero ragging. There are many clubs that ensures different activities of the college happening frequently. There are several events and tournaments held in the college to provide balanced students life. All the festivals like Holi, Diwali, Christmas, new year, etc. are celebrated in the college. I had enjoyed a lot in my whole college life. It provided me lots of learning.
