Alliance School of Law Bangalore: Campus Facilities and Amenities

The best part of the college is that there is almost no ragging, trees surround the college, etc. The positive part of the college is the temple is inside the college. The college campus is compact and there are only 2 academic blocks, 1 mess, 1 restaurant, and 6 to 7 hostels inside. In my opinion, BBA people have better scope in the college than BBA LLB people. I expected a lot from the college but it didn't reach my expectations, but the academic part is really amazing.

I am currently pursuing a B.B.A LL.B (Hons.) undergraduate course with a specialization in Business Law, now I am in my 4th year of study. From 8th grade, I had an interest in the subject of law which made me take this course. There is an entrance exam and an interview that has to be cleared to get a seat in the college. If the students have a good score in their 12th grade and if they do well in the entrance exam there will be a fee concession. The applications will be opened once a year. We have one mid-semester and one end-semester, and in between professors conduct some class tests to ensire that the students are understanding whatever is being taught.

When I joined the college the tuition fee was 2 lakh for a year. There was also an early bird fee rebate of up to 40 percent, now the tuition fee is up to 3 to 3.5 lakh, and there won't be an extra fee for exams and industrial visits.

The faculty members here are friendly and approachable. They have a decent degree (UG and PG). Some have graduated from top universities while some are from reputed colleges. Some of them are pursuing their Ph.D. Almost all the professors use PPTs to teach. Some professors conduct role plays, case analysis, discussions, presentations, and small assignments which help us to have a better understanding over the subject. There are few professors who are not that great at teaching even after having degrees from top Universities.

Only very few people get placed here. Only 2 to 3 people get good package others all get approximately 2 to3 lakh packages.

Inside the campus there are up to 7 hostels which are only for girls. The hostels for boys are outside the campus but at a walking distance. The fee varies according to the room chosen. There are single, double, and triple sharing rooms. There is a mess inside that hostel and the food is not that bad. People can choose options like veg., non-veg. and jain (without onion and garlic), I take Jain food and it is good in taste. Complaints can be raised if the food is not good and students can eat from the restaurant or Nescafe which are on campus. The hostel fee is collected in every 6 months. Single sharing will be Rs. 1,05,000 per 6 months, double sharing will be Rs. 93,000, and triple sharing is for Rs. 84,000. This is about the girl's hostel and the fee may increase if the management wants to. The hostels are closed by 10 pm in the night and they open at 6 am.

The only best part of the college is its infrastructure. There are two academic blocks and 6 to 7 hostels. The academic blocks are very beautifully built. The hostels are also pretty nice but they don't have a lift facility. A new auditorium, a place for performing arts is being built on campus. There is one block dedicated to Business and law students and the other block is dedicated to Engineering students.

The campus life is okay. We have a temple to go to when we feel low, and short walks can be taken around the campus because it has pleasant weather and scenery. Students can play badminton on the college roads, sit and chit-chat with friends, play caroms/table tennis/basketball/football/go to the gym in their leisure time, etc. There will be an additional fee for the gym but rest all activities are free for the students.
