My Opinion on Krishna Engineering College

Overall Rating
Overall, experience at Krishna Engineering College is excellent as it has good academics, placements along with supportive faculty. I have also chosen this college because of academics. The first year teachers are best as they cover entire syllabus in very structured way. From second year, onwards the teachers are good. The campus infrastructure is well designed and cleanness is maintained around the college.
 

Academics Rating
Currently I’m pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering. I have opted this course because it provides professional and technical knowledge in technology field, which has bright future. The entry requirement in Krishna Engineering College is through direct admission in who should have 85% above PCM in class 12th or the candidate has attempted the JEE Main exam and apply for the UPTU counseling. The frequency of exam is about 3 by college and 1 semester exam conducted by AKTU University. The internal college exam prepares students well for the semester exams.
Our college fee for first year is Rs. 1,20,000. From second year onwards, it is about Rs. 1,10,000 in which Rs. 95,000 is tuition fee and other Rs. 15,000 is library fee and few other charges. Annually, Rs. 8,000 is submitted to the university. Scholarship is provided by the UP government to the eligible candidates.
 

Faculty Rating
Mostly faculties are done their masters in the respective subjects and some faculties has also done their PhD. Mostly, teachers use both blackboard and projector for teaching and share the soft copy of notes for reference for exams. They also provide set of important questions for the practice for university exam.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our college has its own placement cell and it is working hard for the placement of students. It is also providing the training for placement. Companies likes Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, etc. are visiting campus for drives. Our college average package is about 4 LPA. I have decent placement experience and I also had a paid internship opportunity from the campus.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our college is having both boys and girls hostels. The hostels have 2 seater and 3 seater rooms with facilities like 4 times food, laundry, Wi-Fi, security, etc. The fee is about Rs. 80,000 yearly including mess food. Hostels have some set of rules like permission is required for going outside, biometric attendance at evening, etc. My personal experience is good and hostel is good and safe.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is decent as campus is designed well with all the facilities like canteens and grounds for sports like basketball, badminton, are. Our college campus is not so big but it has good environment. There are separate department, which has good classrooms and labs with centralized AC. Our college has few sitting spots where the students can go their projects and groups works in the free lectures. The campus also has centralized AC library.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus life is decent. Campus has crowd of about 4000 to 5000 students. There are various clubs in Krishna Engineering College like technical, dance, singing, etc. Our college organizes freshers every year along with some small events by the clubs. There are also MOOCS labs in the campus where the students can explore the industrial knowledge. I have decent campus life experience, as there are many things to explore.

    At Krishna Engineering College, I have spent my 3 years already and from my experience I would say it’s an average college. I never chose this college at first place but the college called me to take admission. They have structured admission system, first my initial documents were checked then an interview was conducted which I passed.   • I am saddened by the thought that I couldn’t enjoy much at KEC

    With very heavy expectations and against my parent’s wishes, I went to Krishna Engineering College Ghaziabad as I scored well in Mains and also cleared the state engineering entrance exams. I was getting better Colleges than KEC for my numbers but wasn’t getting the electronics branch and for me branch mattered more than the College.     I studied B. Tech in CSE at Krishna Engineering College popularly known as KEC. The college is based in Ghaziabad. It is one of the good engineering colleges of Ghaziabad and has changed a lot since its inception.
