Sunbeam College for Women, Varanasi: From Research to Recreation

To describe Sunbeam College for Women in a few lines, it has great faculty that pushes you to work on each of your skill set whether it academics, co-curricular, sports, etc. The college also provides opportunity to participate in multiple competitions and fests held within and outside the college including fests from IIT Roorkee. It also holds several trips to other cities such as Eureka, which are fun to have and a memory for lifetime. Overall, the college is perfect choice for someone who looks up for having more than just academic development.

The college (if pursuing a post graduation course) also provides you opportunity to write research papers and publish yourself in the world of academics. A good to go for academics.

The fee structure is slightly higher compared to other colleges due to its brand value and you will realize it provides you the ROI (return on investment) with opportunities, seminars, and training.

The faculty is top notch without a doubt. Very experienced and supportive in all endeavors. The college faculty is great in terms of knowing how to get you great scores for future. They will teach you with PPTs and digital presentations, using real life examples for better understanding. If requested, they also provide extra classes. If you have any issue in regards to a specific faculty member, the administration welcomes you warmly to discuss it. Faculty vise, the college is a great choice. You will find your professors to be already published authors of their domain books. So rest assured that they are the experts of the field, making your academic scores great by giving you lessons through years of experience.

It does provide placement and internship opportunities during and after the completion of the degree with the tie-ups, it has with certain brands. The pay is just reasonable, ranging from 2.5 to 3 LPA.

There is no such hostel facility for college students. Many PGs around the college provide rent based living.

The infrastructure of Sunbeam College for Women is small in size but high tech. The college has classrooms with digital boards, multimedia halls for various functions and other purposes. There is a library and common room for sitting purpose. There is a canteen with clean and hygienic food services, auditorium, and sports grounds. However, all of it is well organized, and is available on request as and when needed. Overall, it has a fine infrastructure.

Campus life in the college is limited. It is an all girl’s college. You have various functions within the college and outsiders are allowed during the college fest on passes. You will have celebrations on almost all the occasions from saavan celebration, to dandiya night but only with your college mates. During the fests, there are numerous competitions and bands come on DJ night to perform which is a nice experience to have. A fine campus life within the college.
