Affordable Education at Gurukula Kangri University: Check Fees and Scholarships

Overall experiences about Gurukula Kangri University are good and the infrastructure of this university is well maintained. The environment and the place where university is situated are called Devbhumi. I would suggested other student to join this university due to the environment that is quite good than other universities. The placements are also quite good here. Here in this university the various type of yagya was organised by different Rishi muni which is rare in other university. Our university has different games was played which helpful for encourages our games.

My course is B.Tech which is as good for those in engineering for several branches. My branch is Computer Science which is the best. I would suggest the students to choose this branch for better career opportunities. By help of this branch we can get placements directly in several companies like Google, Amazon, etc. We can get admission in this university by cracking JEE Mains examination and according to your rank in examination you will be allotted a branch. Admission is done through CSAB counseling generated by NTA.

The fee for this course is around Rs. 1, 26,000 per year and around Rs. 63,000 per semester of this course. There is registration fee about Rs. 7,500 and this fee is according to your caste certificate. No discount is available for general category but there are some discounts for SC/ST students.

Faculty members at Gurukula Kangri University were good. Their behavior was good with the students. The professors taught us very nicely and their background was good. Many of them crack GATE examination and came here for taught us. They use different methods for teaching like they teach through blackboards, ppts, group discussion, projects and many more ways. They were always available for resolving the doubts of the students. The teacher student ratio at Gurukula Kangri University is approx. 1:10. Our bonding with teacher is very understandable.

Our placement cell is not too good but it is average. The average placement package at Gurukula Kangri University is approx. 5-6 lakh in recent years. Different branches have different placement packages. Different companies visit Gurukula Kangri University and they provide jobs according to their academic behavior and the highest package offered by companies is around 10 to 12 LPA to the students. Overall, we can say that the companies that visit the university for placement and the packages offered by them are average.

Gurukula Kangri University offers hostel facilities to the students. There are separate hostels for juniors and seniors and there are more than 300 rooms per hostel. Each has their separate bed and fans provided there are 3 students in each room and total number of student is more than 500. Mess food is quite good and hygienic. The meals are provided 3 times a day i.e. morning, afternoon, night and snacks in evening. Hostel fees are around Rs. 50,000 and timing is before 10 pm. all students must be present in the hostel. Overall, the hostel conditions are good enough.

Gurukula Kangri University has different blocks and each is separate. The campus is too big and there are different blocks of office and other academic blocks. Classroom’s accommodation capacity is around 60 students per room and there is library for reading and students can also issue a book from there. The campus also has a seminar hall, a conference hall and there is big place for outdoor games. There is transport facility in Gurukula Kangri University for hostlers and medical facility is also made available here. One of my favorite places is that there is a big ground in university campus for playing cricket. Gurukula Kangri University has sports, gym, library, experimental room, robotics facility; medical facility, etc. are present in our university.

Our campus life is good and the environment of Gurukula Kangri University is too good. The crowd is very huge in campus and more than thousand of student is there in our campus. There are many clubs in the campus like robotics, sports, aeromodelling, etc. There is Jhanagani, fresher party and many other activities held in our campus by the university. Our overall campus life at Gurukula Kangri University is good and the students in university are from different states and their behavior with other student is friendly. All of them are helpful to each other.
