GKV Haridwar has Boys' Hostel Inside the Campus

Well talking about Gurukula Kangri University, my overall is experience is good in these 4 years. The factors that made me choose this University is its reputation; infrastructure and ranking at the Government Universities in overall India You should go for the same I recommend all the students to consider this University for their pharmacy degree. The environment is very friendly. The staff, the professors and the students are so cooperative.

I chose B. Pharmacy as my lifetime carrier because I find a good scope in the medical field as here we can earn and gain medicinal knowledge which helps us to build a well earned carrier hence it's also very respectable. The eligibility criteria of the University is you must be passed your 12th in PCB OR PCM with minimum 50% marks and you have to appear for the CUET examination then you have to appear for the counseling after that the documentation should be done and you get the admission. The exams are done to be in total 8 semesters 2 in yearly the exams are at good level. The academics play a vital role in preparing is for the real life as they teach us everything related to our course and sometimes it includes life lessons too.

The fee structure of this course is Rs. 90,000/- annually. You can pay it in installments of Rs. 45,750/- per semester. No specific discount is provided but there is scholarship program for the students where they can get up to Rs. 1, 00,000/- scholarship annually.

The faculty members are so good and well mannered. The professors are good in teaching in their respective subjects. The background of the faculty member is also very sharp and educated their method of teaching includes both theory and practical. There are smart boards are installed in the classes to understand more efficiently. The faculty doesn’t take too much time if there is a problem related to anything the quick response is given to the problem. The teacher student ratio is 40:1. My experience with the faculty is too good as they are to responsive in any query or problem faced.

The placement cell is present in my University, the placement rate is not too high and there is no such amount of package is given to the students the average package is 3-4 LPA. The renowned companies often visit out campus like Akums, ITC, and many more. My placement experience is still on hold, I am in my final year and I expect I will get a good package.

Yes the University offers hostels for the students. There should be about 200 rooms in which the mattress is given to the students like table, chair, and the bed. Two students live in a single room. The number of students is about 300 at present the hostel also has mess where the food is pretty good. There is only boys hostel the department has no girls. The mess hygiene is also good the staff is cooperative. Hostel fees are about Rs. 25,000/- annually which include mess too. Hostel rules are strict no person allowed inside the hostels rather than the hosteller and the timing of going in and out is fixed. I'm not staying at hostel but my friend is.

The campus is not too big but not small the campus is expanding over a good area. It includes library, Volleyball ground, Tennis ground, and Badminton area. The seating capacity of the classroom is about 120 students at a time. The campus also has 6 labs and a conference hall. The canteen facility is not available in the campus. Transport facility and medical facility is also available. There is security at the gate too. My favorite place at the University is the library where everyone can study in good environment.

My overall experience at this University is too good. I enjoyed a lot and learned the things properly; the campus has not much crowd. There is no clubs but the extracurricular activities include sports. The University don’t organise any type of fest but the events are celebrated in a good way, my overall experience at the campus life is too good I made friends here.
