Review of Gurukula Kangri University, Haridwar

Overall Rating
I have been enrolled in this college in B.Tech in CSE branch in the year 2021. Overall, I can say that the college is above average. Only male students study here. Placements are average here. Fees are affordable. Students have to study on their own.
 

Academics Rating
In order to take admissions in this college one has to score at least 90 percentile in JEE Mains exam. There are 4 streams of B.Tech available- Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, and Mechanical. Since it is a GFTI, admissions are done through JOSAA/CSAB counselling.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are experienced and well-trained especially of CSE and ECE departments. But some are not able to express themselves properly. Otherwise, teachers are helpful here in nature. Some teachers are exceptional here but some are not so good. The overall quality of teaching can be said above average.
 

Placement Rating
We have a Training and Placement Cell in our college. Our Training and Placement Cell is responsible for training students for placements and inviting companies to college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus is situated 3-5 km away from the main campus. Our campus has four blocks one for CSE, ECE, and EE branches, one for Mechanical, one for Canteen and Games, and the fourth one for Hostel. Our campus has a garden and playground. There are total four seminar halls in our campus. All labs are well-equipped.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life can be said above average. Most of the students are there in CSE department. This is the department where majority of placements happen. Every year, tech fest 'Jnangni' takes place in Nov-Dec. An interbranch sports competition 'Gurukul Premier League (GPL)' is held every year. Many student clubs like GDSC and Algozenith are also here.

    The university’s professors are well-educated. There is a sports fest once a year where winner gets price pool worth up to 10k. The University also has a great Alumni Network for example, Nawazuddin Siddiqui. All the seniors are cooperative and supportive.... Read Full Review

    Well talking about Gurukula Kangri University, my overall is experience is good in these 4 years. The factors that made me choose this University is its reputation; infrastructure and ranking at the Government Universities in overall India You should go for the same I recommend all the students to consider this University for their pharmacy degree. Students get a lot of placements here and the campus environment is fine.     Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya is a very good college for B.Tech students. Placement of Gurukula Kangri is better than any other colleges. Teachers of Gurukula kangri is very well.
