RMLAU Faizabad's Admission Process

I joined RMLAU Faizabad in year 2023. Admissions are done by 3 ways: Through AKTU counseling, University counseling, or Direct admission based on 12%. In the institute. We have good infrastructure and there is greenery with beautiful campus. Area wise, it is not that big as B. Tech department has separate campus from the main university campus which 1 KM from IET (Institute of Engineering Technology) campus. There is not much society events, we have one annual event of the university, and females who are hostler have curfews after 6:30 PM. The faculty here is average but you need to study on your own as they are mainly focused on completing the syllabus as soon as possible.

I choose B.Tech and my branch is Information Technology. I wanted to join Computer Science (CS) but did not get that. But I would suggest trying for CS branch. The eligibility to get in this university is getting at least 60% in class 12. Furthermore giving JEE Main examination. Here, new semester starts from September and we have our 1st semester exams in January and second in July. We learn programming language, data structure Our seniors have started a coding club where they conduct different coding challenges every month and the winner get goodies. Lectures are of around one hour for every subject. The strength of the class is around 60. The classes run from 10 AM in the morning to 1 PM. Then we have 1-hour lunch break after that if we have any lab it is for 1-2 hour, otherwise we can leave the university if we do not have any lab. So we get a lot of time for skill development or GATE examination preparation.

For registration, we have to pay Rs. 1,000. In 1st year, the fee is around Rs. 77,000. This includes tuition fee, examination fee, lab fee, etc. Then from the second year, the fee is around Rs. 71,000. No discount is given by the university. The scholarship we get is from UP government. We get around Rs. 57,000 every year. there is eligibility criteria for filling this form related to family income, percentage, etc.

The faculty of Information Technology is good. They are quite experienced. They teach on blackboard and PPTs both. Professors are very friendly and help us in studies.

There are not much placements in RMLAU Faizabad. However, few service based companies come for placements in fourth year.

The university has boy’s hostel just in front of the IET campus. In addition, the girl’s hostel is inside the main campus. The infrastructure of the girl’s hostel is average. They have their mess inside the hostel along the ground for playing badminton. The hostel is surrounded by trees and is quite beautiful around. Mess food is average in both girl’s and boy’s hostels. Boy’s hostels also have ground for cycling, cricket, etc. Girl’s hostel has a curfew time of 6:30 PM.

The infrastructure of our university is good. We have canteen as we enter inside the university then comes the main building. After main building, there are different blocks for different branches. In the main building classes, there are for CSE, IT, and ECE are conducted. The classes for Mechanical and Civil students are conducted in different blocks. After this, there are buildings from different courses like BCA, MCA, B.Pharm, etc.

The campus life average. The crowd of the university is mainly focused on studying and preparing for government exams or for the placements. No. in the hostel, they celebrate every festival and have fun. We have a lot of time to hangout inside the university.
