Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University is situated in Ayodhya City and this university is recognized by University Grant Commission and also by All India Counsel for Technical Education. My experience in the university was great and I had enjoyed all my years in the university and my career changed in the college life with help of the faculty members. I had also participated in many extracurricular activities and that was very good experience. I had also enabled fee waiver seat by which I got all the tuition fee free and I just had to pay Rs. 10000 per year as annual fee. I choose this university because it was good university that I was getting after by counselling process and this college was also famous at that time and my expectations were fulfilled after taking admission in the university. If someone looking for a good university with amazing crowd and engagement should join the university.

I choose Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering because that time there was craze for this branch and my family members convinced me to opt for this branch. In the course there is balance in theory subjects and in practical subjects and this is the good part about this program and this is a professional course which means we can get industry jobs after completing this program. When I take admission in RMLAU at that time we have to appear for the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam but now admission are done through the JEE Mains exam and forms are available of the National Testing Agency Website from where we can fill the form for the JEE Mains Entrance Exam. 10+2 with minimum 55 percent is the requirement for this university and also more than 60 percent in physics, chemistry and math. I took admission in this program because in my 12th standard I had interest in physics.

Faculty members in the Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University are best and these teachers here in the university are gem and they are expert in their field. The style of teaching is very practical and it has less of the theoretical knowledge. One of my teachers of Manufacturing had done his M. Tech and PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology so why looking this we can assume that how good was the background of the teachers in the university and all of the teachers had experience more than 10 years of teaching. But one thing that I noticed that majority of the teachers were male and female teachers were less. There was a residency building for the teachers and also there were some exclusive facilities for the teachers.

Many good companies visit the campus and placement cell in the college try to contact more and more companies for the recruitment process but all the companies come for the computer science students and they have nothing to offer for the Mechanical Students. When I was a student in the university only three companies visited the campus exclusively for the Mechanical Engineering Student and whom they give the package of 5 LPA and three companies jointly only offer 8 jobs which was humiliation for the students and that is why I did not took the further participation in the company job processes. But I tried some out of campus companies in which I got interview call from one company but I was rejected. I would suggest the students in the university to do internships and project during their graduation because they help a lot in interviews.

This university is a state government university which means the hostel fee is very low which is Rs. 15,000 per year including all the charges of mess and rooms and all the extracurricular activities because government of Uttar Pradesh fund the college for the operation. There were two types of room available in the hostel one was two sharing and another was three sharing and all of the room were not air-conditioned and not so well equipped with facility and there was common bathroom for each floor which means for the 50 students. But in hostel there are lot of activities that happen which cannot happen in hostel outside the campus because we made a lot of friends in the college hostel. Mess food is good just good not better not bad and not average because it is survival for the students. There are some good rooms available outside the college area but the students did not opt for them because fee in the campus hostel is already very low and the environment of the college hostel is also good.

Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University is spread over 100 acres and filled with amazing crowd and positive environment. The college culture in the university is best and we can feel it inside the campus area. There are more than 25 buildings in the university and all of them look amazing. Although the university was established in 1975 it does not look like that old university because work is undergone in the college area. All the building except one or two are very well maintained irrespective of the time of making them because they continuously take care of the campus. There is also vast free space in the campus where we can participate in the extracurricular activities and all the sports facilities are available in the university. Classrooms are good and sixty students can sit in a classroom and class size is also perfect and all the basic facility in the classroom is present.

As I have said the campus culture is very good in the college and we can really feel the junior senior relation in the campus and the mutual respect for each other. RMLAU Campus is ragging free but we had one introduction type arrangement for the new student which is really good because it remain memorable for all the years in the college. Sports activities in the university are the positive point for the college because it is really engaging. Something is always happen in the university because we there are lot of students in the university and there are many clubs also in the university which are run and managed by the senior students. Clubs also announce their recruitment from the junior students. Some competitions are also organized in the institute like Quiz competition; Prize hunt and singing nights etc are some of the thing that we enjoyed the most.
