Comfort and Convenience at Ethiraj College Hostels

Ethiraj college is located in the centre of Chennai at main place of city. Campus is evergreen known for excellence in education more than 75 years. Students study here, get exposure to corporate world and get life skills. Placement opportunities are wide. They get trained before getting placed and many big 4 companies have hired students from here some are Deloitte, EY, Barclays, etc. This is a good and old college known for its history of teaching and we can make some real good Friends.

The course I have chosen here is B.Com corporate secretary ship specialization The course has two shifts. Aided is known for morning shift or day 9am -2pm. Self supporting is known for evening 11-4 pm. Students completing commerce after 11th, 12th high school can join with cutoff above 65% in evening while there is a competition in morning as it requires high cutoff and selects merit based student only. The course not only provides in depth secretarial knowledge and makes students gain practical in hand experience by making them take internship.

The fees structure for aided is around Rs. 5,000 while evening is around Rs. 50,000 The fees structure varies based on merit list and cutoff eligibility. Evening shift is high as they are given with minimum criteria cutoff while morning students have high cut-off around 95% and get scholarships and govt. funds them.

The faculty members at Ethiraj College are not only highly qualified but also very approachable and supportive. They focus on making learning engaging by using modern methods like projectors and virtual tools. What’s great is that they keep the curriculum updated by providing internship in curriculum, so students always stay in touch with the latest knowledge and skills needed and they also help at last minute by explaining where we feel difficult.

The placement cell at Ethiraj College does a great job helping students pave their careers. Big companies like Deloitte, EY, Barclays, and HP actively hire from the campus, offering impressive packages between Rs. 3 to Rs. 9 lakh per year. My friends are from hostel. They appreciate the quality of food and spacious rooms. My friends often Say “I love the food, and the rooms are large and comfortable.” Some have pointed out that the hostel’s location is near from the main campus which is an advantage. It has a well-maintained and student-friendly campus. The classrooms are spacious. The campus also has canteens that serve tasty and affordable food, and the hostel facilities are comfortable, with reliable amenities like Wi-Fi, clean water, and electricity. For students who need it, the college provides transport services with its own buses. Overall, the infrastructure creates a great environment for learning and personal growth convenient.

At my college, the campus is pretty chill and functional. The classrooms are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re suffocating, and the labs actually have all the equipment you need. The library is a peaceful haven for anyone who wants to escape the chaos, although it’s usually filled with students. Canteen food is affordable and under renovation.

E in Ethiraj stands for Events. It's well known for the events walk-in with one right set of friends. It will be really fun and how well one is taking the event serious and using opportunities and having fun it's all about making memories. This is a girls college it has its own vibe and with same wavelength friends can be made. There are many societies, clubs, E-cell, YRC, Rotaract being active in this. This also is useful on Career basis and resume building while placement.
