Ethiraj College for Women Chennai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

At my college, the campus is pretty chill and functional. The classrooms are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re suffocating, and the labs actually have all the equipment you need. The library is a peaceful haven for anyone who wants to escape the chaos, although it’s usually filled with students. Canteen food is affordable and under renovation.

E in Ethiraj stands for Events. It's well known for the events walk-in with one right set of friends. It will be really fun and how well one is taking the event serious and using opportunities and having fun it's all about making memories. This is a girls college it has its own vibe and with same wavelength friends can be made. There are many societies, clubs, E-cell, YRC, Rotaract being active in this. Ethiraj College for Women’s campus has 2 blocks - Main Block and Annex Block. The Main Block mainly consists of the Aided departments while the Annex Block has the Self Supporting as the majority and with Business Studies departments as the dominant one. The classrooms have capacity of 75 to 80 students. The library is extensive with both educational and non educational books. The campus has 2 canteens and a medical room. Sports have a separate block.

The campus life at Ethiraj College for Women is bustling to say in one word. There are some activities always going on such as cultural fests, club activities, and departmental activities. There are multiple external activity clubs such as Rotaract, Red Ribbon Club, Financial Literacy Club, Entrepreneurship Cell, Citizen Consumer Club, Youth Red Cross, YUVA, etc. Some are compulsory ones while some are voluntary.
