Quality Academic Facilities at TKM Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
TKM Institute of Technology is one of the best engineering institutes in Kerala. Many good companies will come here for campus selection of students. The campus is student friendly and there is no ragging here. The faculties here have good knowledge as most of them have PhD degrees. This institute is ranked one of the top 30 institutes among all Kerala engineering institutes. Since it is a government institute, the fee is also low here and the campus is situated in Karuvelil town, which is well developed.
 

Academics Rating
The academics here are excellent. The institute has lot of facilities for lab. The average pass percent here is above 70%. Due to its excellence in academics, more number of students are coming here for admissions. Special classes are being arranged for students who are having backlogs. During exam time, revision classes are also being conducted for all students to perform well in exams. The faculties are putting their maximum effort to support students studying here in the institute.
The fee in this institute is moderate i.e., it is about Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000 per year so that a student from an average family background can study here.
 

Faculty Rating
As mentioned earlier, the faculties who are teaching here have high education like PhDs, etc. There is one HoD in each department accompanied by multiple faculties. HoD takes every important decisions of the department. Every class has maximum 60 students, who have two to three tutors guiding them. These tutors look after the all the needs of their students and inform their parents in case of any issue.
 

Placement Rating
Almost all the good companies are coming in TKM Institute of Technology for placements. Most of the students are getting placements from this institute.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels can accommodate more than 600 students (boys as well as girls). The food here is very good and hygienic.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Each department has its special building. Each department has its own necessary labs. The institute has library, main seminar hall & seminar halls for regarding departments, conference hall, and an auditorium, which can accommodate good amount of students. The institute canteen is well maintained and the food menu is good with various dishes for all sorts of meals. My favorite thing in the campus is that it is situated in a hilly region, so the climate here is very good.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very good. The students here are very good company. A student, looking for good campus can join here. The institute has an Arts event, which is known as ‘Regalia’, which goes on for about 2 days. In an every odd semester, sports tournament is also being conducted for students. It also has a NSS group, which recently got an award for being the best NSS group in Kerala. There are other clubs as well such as IDC, IEEE, etc. I am experiencing good campus life in this institute.
