Overall Rating
I had very good experience in my college time. I had been with good and supportive friends. During my time at institute, I had a comprehensive and enriching learning experience that helped me build a strong foundation in my career. The institute offers a perfect blend of theoretical as well as practical expertise, which is essential for anyone looking to build a career in tech industry. The faculty approach to personalized mentorship and emphasis on preparing student for leadership roles in tech industry is unique. There was a big ground in my college, which includes cricket ground, football, basketball, badminton and long jump.
 

Academics Rating
I had chosen mechanical engineering because I feel it is core branch. After giving MHCET, I got SGGS college in counselling round and I went to college for admission. You need to take all your valid documents while going for admission. You just need to fill admission form for taking admission. There was semester pattern, so in one semester there were 2 exam one was mid-sem and other was end-sem.
When I took admission in 2019 the fees for OPEN or GEN category was Rs.86,500/- for OBC Rs.76,500/- and for SC / ST it was 5000 as it was government aided college. SC/ST and OBC students applied for scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty for Mechanical Engineering branch was very much experienced and our HOD was very aged person. Most of our faculty had done Ph.D, and they had good knowledge about their subject. They used to take surprise test and exams and their way of teaching was practical based. Almost all teachers used ppt. for teaching. They all had very good problem solving abilities. In our department there were about 15 teachers in total. I had good experience with all the teachers, and every teacher was helpful.
 

Placement Rating
Our college placement was good. With average placement record of 85% and average package was around 5LPA. Our placement coordinator was a good person. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant and others used to visit our campus.
 

Hostel Rating
I lived in hostel where the fees was Rs.15,000/- and mess fees was also same Rs.15,000/-. But fees got increased to Rs.24,000/- in 3rd year. Hostel was very clean, had Wifi, geyser, chair and table for study, a cupboard for keeping clothes and other stuff. Mess food was not up to mark.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college was spread on around 4 acres of land. There was more tress in college campus than buildings which make college atmosphere fresh. From the entry gate you will see Main Building that is Administrative building, after that there is a building for each department. Classroom is equipped with latest technology projector for teaching purpose. Our class seating capacity was 120 students. College has 4 canteens, which are spread all around the college. Each canteen has its own specialty. The guards are present 24/7 in college campus which makes it safe for students.
 

Campus Rating
The Overall campus life was good, we enjoyed playing sports, cultural events, Tech fest and other activities. The college crowd was entertaining, and everyone used to get involved in all activities. They all showed great response in every event in college. There are so many clubs in our college such as RnXG, UPSC club, Dance Club, Singing club and many more. Other college students also came to our college when there was some function or program or any competition and food and all is arranged for them. Tournaments take place in college which makes it more exciting for students.

    SGGS Nanded is a government autonomous institute. It is good and focuses on both academics and extracurricular activities. The campus is huge with good infrastructure. Labs are well developed with up to date machines. The reason of choosing this institute was experienced faculties with all of them having PhD.
