Student’s Life in VIT-AP University

Overall Rating
The overall experience in VIT-AP University is quite nice and smooth. I don't know about future but I am expecting it to run smoothly. Flexible timetable system and relative grading are two things, which you cannot find in any other institutions. There are few other things like they organize cultural activities and sports very seriously.
 

Academics Rating
The course that I chose is Computer Science Engineering because it is my passion and I want to pursue higher education in this field. There is an entrance exam, which you need to pass to be enrolled in this institution with maximum cutoff marks. There are three exams conducted in each semester, which you need to pass to gain credits. The academics prepare you really well because most of the questions asked in the paper are real life scenarios.
The year wise tuition fee is Rs. 70,000 and hostel fee 1.80 Lakh. There are no scholarships available. You can choose your own hostel type, which may increase or decrease your hostel fee.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are highly qualified and super friendly. Most of them are from IITs and NITs or any other big university. The method of teaching is through PPTs and blackboards both. The problem solving abilities of the teachers is very good. The student teacher ratio is 1:30. Our experience with the faculty this far is very warming and healthy.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in VIT-AP University that is managed by students and faculties. The renowned companies that visit university are HCL, Accenture, Lenovo, Wipro, etc. The average package is 8 LPA and highest package is 64 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, VIT-AP University has its own hostel. There are total 7 hostel blocks: 5 for boys and 2 for girls. The mess food is very hygienic and made with good quality products. There is a rules that no one is allowed to go out after 9 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is 1 main building and two university administration blocks where teaching takes place. The total campus size is around 130 acres with good transport system around the university area. The seating capacity of classroom is around 80 to 100. Our university consists everything library, seminar halls, and auditorium. There are two hangout spots: food Street and rock plaza where you can have snacks. There is a huge play area where you can play all kind of sports.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is quite interesting and exciting with daily classes and sports. The crowd consists has huge population of 8000 people. There are many clubs available in our university. You should name and it will be available like language, sports and everything. There will be two big events: VTAP and VITOPIA for the exhibition of technology and culture. There will many extracurricular activities weekly in which you need to participate for additional experience.

    I have been studying here for a while and I think that overall, university is actually good. It is a solid place to develop your future. Professors are approachable and knowledgeable. Library and labs are well maintained. There is a scope of acting in every field of life. We can participate in any sport activities and other extracurricular activities.     Like in these college there are all average things, like some of the students are getting good hostels and some them are getting bad hostels facilities. Sometime food is awesome sometimes like maybe you going to vomit. Some faculties are good enough but some of them don't know the concepts.
