SSIT Chennai Fee Structure and Value for Quality Education

Sri Sairam Institute of Technology is good for learning purposes. The syllabus is not that tough as compared to Central board of Secondary Education. I choose this college through counselling and till now I feel good about this college. For those who have studied in a strict school this college feels good and kind and for other this feeling is a contrast. The difference in this institute compared to other institutes is that this college has a large campus and a large auditorium where audio launch of movies take place. Movies like Jawan, Puspha 2, Amaran’s audio launch where conducted in this college.

I have chosen Computer Science and Engineering and the reason for choosing this course is because of my personal liking to Software Development and the development of IT Sector. its best if you enter this college through Tamil Nadu Counselling. The criteria are that you have to get above 60% in your 12th standard Board Exam. For a particular semester there will be around 3 cyclic exams for a single subject. The academics prepare the students for facing the real-life challenges at a average level.

I have chosen Computer Science and Engineering so for me the course cost is around Rs.1,10,000/- for the course. In Sri Sairam Institute Technology travelling though bus is mandatory and the fixed rate for bus travel is Rs.20,000/- and additional fees will be taken based on the distance from college to the destination. Additional fees of Rs.25,000/- will be taken for online facility and more. So roughly for me including the transport, the cost for a single year in Sri Sairam Institute of Technology is around Rs.1,80,000/-

Most of the Faculty members in Sri Sairam Institute of Technology are kind and gentle. The method of faculty members teaching the course are through Blackboard, Smartboard and PPT.’s are send to students through Google Classroom. There is no problem in notes and are provided by teachers through Google Classroom, According to me most of the Computer Science and Engineering faculties have a good problem solving ability of the syllabus. The teacher to student ratio in Sri Sairam Institute of Technology is 1:60 (approximately). The bonds between the teachers and students are good for me (except a few), most of the teachers are friendly in my department.

The Campus of Sri Sairam Institute of Technology is small compared to other colleges, the institute is located inside Sri Sairam Engineering College in the West Tambaram. The size of the campus is only 300 acres and the size of each classroom is large enough to accommodate 60 students easily. The Library of the Institution is good for research and Canteen are worst compared to other college and the auditorium is shared with Sri Sairam Engineering College. There are no places to roam inside the campus. The infrastructure is good exterior wise and the classrooms are good infrastructure wise except for few places.

The Campus life for students is average because there are no places in the college to roam. But I like the college campus because I am not a person who travels much so I used to sit in the classroom itself and this doesn't affect me much though. The crowd management in the college is good due to its decent infrastructure. There are 2 exit points. one is on the ground floor and another on the first floor. There are totally 9 clubs like code club, gram development club, artificial intelligence Club and more. Engagement activities like symposium and club events will be conducted in the college. I can rate the college as 3.5/5.
