Overall Rating
It has been 1 year since I joined Sri Sairam Institute of Technology, I had joined here via Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission Counseling process and was allocated Information Technology branch. From this one year of experience, I could say that academic wise and pursuing your Entrepreneurship ideas, this college provides you the best opportunities to learn and explore.
 

Academics Rating
If you really like coding and want to get placed in a reputed Information Technology based companies, then you can definitely choose this course. Eligibility and entry requirements change from person to person in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions based upon their caste and date of birth, if you have more than 170 cut off mark from physics, chemistry and maths, then you can enroll for this course.
 

Faculty Rating
Here, most of the faculties are PhD scholars and they have strong educational background in their specific domains, they did lot of research works and they help for the students’ project works. Personally, I like most of the teaching styles of faculty members. Actually, we have a system called live in lab where we have to build our projects starting from 2nd year till last year. There we will be assigned with two faculty members throughout the project.
 

Placement Rating
The Placement Cell is known as Sairam Training and Placement Cell. Since I'm studying in 2nd year, I have not attended any interviews but I know that the placements are good.
 

Hostel Rating
Though I am a day scholar, but most of my friends are from college hostel only, actually the food is very good in Sairam hostels and they have good infrastructure and basic facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Sri Sairam Institute of Technology has got good infrastructure facilities. Every department has got its classrooms, workshops, and computer laboratories, and it has some seminar halls and smart classrooms in order to conduct events and symposiums, every class has smart televisions that are very useful in visualizing the concepts.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus life is very good and events and fests are conducted on a regular basis, making every student to feel cherished. The institute has got more than 30 clubs which conducts several competitions and events for their student members in order to encourage the students and provide them with awesome goodies.

It is located in suburban areas of Chennai and easy to travel from college to native.
