Fee Structure, Infrastructure and Campus Facilities at SVNIT Surat

I am studying Electronics & Communication Engineering in SVNIT Surat. In my opinion, the academics in the institute are quite good. They are teaching us by using digital boards. The faculty tries to give their best and they are very punctual. Apart from studies, there are many events in our institute, which are quite good. I joined it because it is located at the center of the city.

I chose Electronics & Communication Engineering branch which I got through JEE Main examination. I desired to join national institutes like IITs or NITs, which is why I chose to prepare for this entrance exam and some good rank. My motive to join this institute was good placement. The admission process mainly consists of scoring 75% in respective board and clearing JEE Main. The further procedure is done through JoSAA and CSAB counseling. The academics in our institute are quite good. it helps me to gain real life knowledge. There are exams such as mid-sem, end-sem, and quizzes. The frequency of exam is also quite good.

The fee of my course is Rs. 99,000 for each semester and nearly Rs. 36,500 is for hostel. In total, it costs nearly Rs. 2,50,000 for a year.

The faculties are quite good in teaching. They are well-educated people. Many of the faculty members have completed their PhDs. the method is teaching is mainly using computer screens. Their problem solving skills are quite good. The bonding between students and teachers is good. They care about education as well as personal aspects of the students. They are very good at their work.

The infrastructure of SVNIT Surat is so good. There are many academics blocks. However, one issue is some blocks in the campus are old and need renovation. There are many new blocks. The campus area is nearly 250 acres. The classrooms have capacity of 150 to 200 students. There is a hospital in the campus along with the sports complex. The security is quite good.

My campus life is good. I have many friends here. The crowd is large and we can interact with large number of people from all over the country. There are many clubs, which are quite good. Many other extracurricular activities take place in our institute. There is an event known as ‘Sparsh’ which takes place every year. It is of 3 days. Event named ‘Kashish’ is for freshers, which is for 2 days. One day is dedicated to cultural and other to western events. My campus life is good.
