MIT Bangalore: Academics, Campus Life & More

I belong to one of the first few batches at MIT Bangalore. Everybody here is very passionate about something. It might be not related to studies but they are all very active. The friends and the freedom is the best part. The institute is obviously big and has the best facilities of course because it’s private. The hostels are best I've ever seen and you have so many things to try to become good at. You can discover yourself. If you have, the money does it. Main challenges would be that when I joined nobody knew that there was a campus in Bangalore. In addition, travelling is expensive in Bangalore. It’s in Yalahanka, which are outskirts. You won’t see real Bangalore in Yalahanka. The weather is the best part. Not entirely untouched by pollution but still better than others.

The admission was pretty easy. The exam will not be as difficult either. We have one mid sem, one end sem, one quiz & one assignment. One mid sem is of 30 marks, quiz is of 10, assignment is of10, and end-sem is of 50. Do not fail then you have to pay Rs. 12,000 for doing that subject again.

4.85 LPA is a tuition fee. You will have to pay about 7 Lakh for one year with hostel fee. With other expenses, it'll go above that budget. Well, you do have scholarships so study well and you can get them.

Faculty members are not up to the mark.

The placements are decent because obviously MIT Bangalore has name and reputation. Do well to maintain more than 7.5 and it’ll make chances to get the job higher. You’ll have to learn coding from the start and you’ll gain communication skills anyways in Manipal.

Hostels are amazing and comfortable. House cleaner services are available all day. Rooms are available in Triple, double, and single sharing. AC and non-AC differ by Rs. 20,000. Mess food is decent.

It is a very happening institute. You’ll enjoy and explore for so many activities happen like Holi and dandiya events. It has a fast-paced crowd, so you’ll grow in every way. ‘Dissension’ fest happens every year. The stalls are very enjoyable. There are other departments as well like Arts, and Law, hence they have their own fests as well and are always happening. There are clubs in each course for every kind of extracurricular activities and you can join as many as you like.

A very happening college youll enjoy and explore for shre many actuvities happen for free in hostel facilities like holi and dandiya events for all the festivals. Fast paced crowd so youll grow in every way. Falak fest happens every year and the competitions the stalls the food is very enjoyable there are other departments as well like arts,doc,law do there fets as well and its always happening . There are clubs in each course for every kind of extracurricular actuvities and you can join as many as youd like
