Overall Rating
My overall experience in this institute was very good. The journey from 2021 to 2025 taught me many things and aspects of life. Every new semester was like a challenging phase. The exam criteria made us attend classes regularly. The internals were designed to complete the syllabus with minimal pressure on the students. There were 3 internals after every 22 to 25 days. They were conducted for 50 marks each and scaled down to 50 including assignment. At end of the semester, VTU’s (its affiliating university) final exams paper are held for 100 marks.
 

Academics Rating
I studied Electronics & Communication. I chose this course because my cutoff of COMEDK was 17k. Students can take admission through COMEDK, KCET exam (for Karnataka), and management quota as well. There is no particular admission process for institutes. It is allotted to the students during the counseling. Students need to accept the seat and report to the institute for registration form completion and document verification. The curriculum in this institute was good and relatable to real world.
The fee for my course in 2021 batch was Rs. 1,85,000 per year. Students from KCET paid Rs. 85,000 per year and for management, it is Rs. 3,00,000. Fee structure is provided as a letter depending on the admission criteria.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties of this institute are good enough. Teachers are good and knowledgeable. The professors are PhD holders. Majority of teachers use board, PPT, etc. They are very helpful and supportive. They teaching style is also very good. My experience with majority of the teachers was good. Every student is allotted with a mentor who help and guide them throughout their course. Institute also provides courses to make the students be placement ready.
 

Placement Rating
Placements during my time were also good enough. 70% of my batch mates got placed and still counting.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus size is a bit small of 6 acres. There is a long parking lot at the starting and then grounds & buildings. Classrooms are big and spacious with digital boards. There are all the facilities like library, labs, AV halls, auditorium, student lounge, etc. The library opens from 8 AM to 12 AM. Canteen and sports facilities are open upto institute timings. My favorite place is the student lounge where we spend time with our friends.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is average. Students are not allowed in the campus after 7 PM. Hostlers can use it upto 9 PM. Institute crowd is more as area is small for all the students. There are many clubs such as fashion club, singing club, drama club, dance club, etc. In extracurricular activities and IEEE, music, and coding clubs in technical clubs. There is the biggest fest called ‘Cultura’ held every year in June. Other fests of CMR Institute of Technology are Aura, Spardha, ethnic Day, etc.

    CMRIT Bangalore is accredited with A++ by NAAC. It has a 8-acre campus located in Marathahalli. I took admission in this institute through COMEDK Exam.     CMR Institute of Technology is situated in the prime area of Bangalore. It has a good placement ratio according to the other Institutes and the students are internally supported to do extracurricular activities like participating in various hackathon and sports which are taking place in other Institutes.
