Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology: A Student’s Perspective

Overall Rating
Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology has been doing a great job. Each faculty is very cooperative and very advanced in teaching skills and if we will talk about the infrastructure then overall it is good. Each criterion is divided with different departments and for co-curricular too. They are still now improving the infrastructure and our institute campus is very neat and clean. The vision of our institute is to be a notable institution for providing quality technical education and ensuring ethical & moral values for development of students.
 

Academics Rating
This course Engineering in Information Technology chosen by me has provided me a lot of knowledge in technology background. The eligibility criteria at this institute are sitting in the JEE MAINS exam or MHT-CET entrance exam. The aggregate percentile you have to score in 86 percentile to take the seat in Information Technology branch and for any other branch like CSE you have to score at least 91 percentile. The academic preparation for me is a real life challenge.
The fees of Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology of BE in Information Technology are Rs. 1, 15,000 and we can pay the fees via giving it in installments. Admission charges was somewhere around Rs. 1,500. There are many Scholarships for students and there are also many special discounts for girl’s students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of our department is very polite and had a good teaching skills and a decent behavior with the students. Their method of teaching is more practical than the theory part while they teach us theory mostly. Ppts and group discussions are being conducted regularly to make the class alive and more interactive during the session. The problem solving abilities of the faculty is average. Our bonding with the faculty is more professional.
 

Placement Rating
If I'll talk about the placement cell at Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology I don't have much idea because I'm in first year so there is nothing related to any placement or placement related activities and programs conducted at the institute for my batch as of now.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology provides the residential facilities. The girls and boys hostels are separate. I basically don't live in hostel so I don't have much idea about the hostel facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are different academic blocks for different departments. Locality of our campus is very refreshing and we have a good atmosphere. If we talk about the classroom, seating capacity is good and there are latest facilities available in the institute. Academic facilities like library, labs, seminars hall, auditorium, conference hall, etc. are also there. My favorite thing as a part of the institute infrastructure is the playground area and the library which has a nice seating arrangement.
 

Campus Rating
If I'll talk about my campus life then obviously it is new for me and the institute crowd is everything that I have been imagining all over my life. There are clubs where we can participate in different extracurricular activities organized by the institute. Fest and events like annual Fest or particular festivals are celebrated at the institute. My experience about the campus life of Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering and Technology is very enthusiastic and very entertaining.

    NMIET is under PCET where most of the student wish to get a degree from and a better placement. It has central placement cell which is of PCET and students get equal opportunities for job here.     The first day of my college as well as first semester of my academic year was very exciting. It has also been an interesting learning experience. It has been full of ups and downs. The factors in choosing this college were many, like less in tuition fees, the average class size, SPPU curriculum and many more.
