Engineering in NMIET

Overall Rating
NMIET is under PCET where most of the student wish to get a degree from and a better placement. It has central placement cell which is of PCET and students get equal opportunities for job here. It is sure that you will get a good job opportunity from NMIET if you keep a good academic score throughout your graduation. NMIET also offers other learning platform for development of skills. Many fests are conducted in college for enjoying college life as well.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.E in Information Technology. I have great interest in learning about technologies we use in our daily life and to invent new technologies for future. To get admission in this particular course, you require MHT CET percentile or JEE percentile. The cutoffs changes in each round. The admission process is easy as well, just need to submit all documents properly in time. NMIET is under SPPU, hence the main end semester exams are conducted by SPPU after every semester, but college conducts in-semester exams in each semester.
The fees for B.E in IT is Rs.1,14,000/- for open category for one year i.e., 2 semesters per year. Scholarships are also available for students, one need to apply for scholarships. Only SPPU exam fees need to be paid externally
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are highly qualified professors with great experience of teaching for many years. The method of teaching is also understandable with use of ppts, group discussions, seminars, etc. All faculty members are friendly and available for students for problem solving. They are highly approachable and individually study student's behaviour. Tremendous amount of efforts are taken by the faculty members for teaching and making the students understand the concepts clearly and application of those concepts.
 

Placement Rating
The placement in NMIET is managed by central placement cell of PCET. They provide equal opportunities for job based on the skills and academics. Decent package is offered by the companies. Many renowned companies like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Cummins, Accenture, Wipro, etc., visits our campus
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel provided is really good. I am a day scholar so don't know much about hostels
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Infrastructure is very similar to PCCOE and PCCOE Ravet. The campus is big and the locality is also nice. The classrooms have a seating capacity of 70 students minimum. There are computer, chemistry, physics, mechanics, and many other labs for practical as well. There is also a big auditorium on the top floor. The campus has canteen for students and staffs. Sports department with various indoor and outdoor sports. Medical facility is also provided in case of emergency. There is transport facility provided for students living far away from college.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is great with all nice facilities included. I have already made many friends here which I hope, will be for lifetime. There are various clubs like sports, cultural, environmental, etc., for students. I am part of green club which is for environment and also cultural club. There are extra-curricular activities for students apart from academics. Many events and fests are conducted every year like traditional days, bollywood days, etc., and it is fun during this time. I have a great experience in this campus and my college.

    The first day of my college as well as first semester of my academic year was very exciting. It has also been an interesting learning experience. It has been full of ups and downs. The factors in choosing this college were many, like less in tuition fees, the average class size, SPPU curriculum and many more.
