My Thoughts on SIET Sikar

Overall Rating
SIET Sikar is good institute and you can make many good friends here. I chose this institute because of affordability. It is also near to my home. The connectivity with city is good. So, can go regularly. You can get scholarship from government. Overall experience of institute is good. You get good exposer of people from other culture and a good campus life.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Computer Science because my parents suggested me this branch. I also did some research in this subject, which motivated for enrolling in this course. There is no exam, test and any other thing is required to get admission. You need documents like 10th & 12th marksheet, caste certificate, and some other documents. In my course, there are mid-terms in every two months, other tests, and also semester exams.
The fee of my course is Rs. 40,000 per year. Exam form fee is like other courses. You can get full scholarship from government if you belong to SC and ST.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty are good and helpful in study. They also help outside the class if there is problem in subject. All faculties are well qualified. There is no group discussions. Teaching method of teacher is good. There teacher to student ratio is good. The bonding with teacher is nice and experience is approachable. You can approachable in outside class also and by calling on phone.
 

Placement Rating
Working of the placement cell in SIET Sikar can be much better.
 

Hostel Rating
I never lived in hostel but my friends live in hostel. There is in campus hostel. Boy’s and girl’s hostels are separate. Students can also choose to live in the accommodations available outside the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are different blocks for different courses. The campus size is small but locality is good. The seating capacity of class is good. There is library but it is old. The books are also old. Labs are well equipped. There is small auditorium that you can call conference hall also. The canteen is average but basic things are available. There is no sports ground in institute. Security is available in institute.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is best thing about institute because you have good friends that come different parts of India. The institute is crowd. There is no clubs in institute. Small activities are organized by institute and there are some awareness programs. Institute organizes fests every year. My overall experience about campus life is best and I made many friends that belong different place.
